Oh my God! I'm from India and was watching and watching videos to learn how to use chopstick. But this video works..!Thank you much! Interested in Korean culture.. lots of love from India!
Thank you so much for this video. I have been trying to master chopsticks forever and I tried your first technique and it worked great. I ate my first meal the other day using only chopsticks, no fork. And today at work I ate beef chow mein with chopsticks. It was a great feeling to finally accomplish this. Thanks again.
I can't keep the bottom chopstick to stay put, it keeps wanting to slide up my middle finger instead of staying at the cuticle so my sticks are out of line and I can't pick anything up with out using my middle finger to stabilize.....my hands aren't made for chopsticks :'( Please help!
Same. What works for me is resting the lower stick on the edge of the ring finger, so basically just between finger and nail bed. It's very stable and both index and middle finger are completely free to move. Like this vid th-cam.com/video/-SgZ3Enpau8/w-d-xo.htmlm
Thanks for the video. :) I'm getting the hang of it, but my biggest problem is keeping them straight, and my fingers seem to want to make the chopsticks cross over each other instead of the top one lining up with the bottom one.
the beginner chopsticks are cool..not seen before. but i hold chopsticks different. i put chopsticks on fingertips of middle + ring finger and hold with thumb lock. looks almost same but i can pick up coffee cups with my chopies. ;)
bri bart Oh that's awesome! hehe That's great you can even pick up coffee cups~ Yeah there is no "the one" way to hold chopsticks, and I'm sure everyone has different methods~ I just showed 2 methods that I thought were easy for people to try!~hehe.
Thank you for the tutorial:) I still can’t seem to get it right, I can’t keep my middle finger on the upper chopstick, it just falls onto the bottom one So i end up only using my thumb and index finger to move the top one. I’m left handed too but I probably write a bit different.
I can use chopsticks very well my Uncle taught me the right way to use it. He's a Taiwanese. but thank you for sharing this video to us as well /dexter
I struggle with chopsticks: it's good one moment and the next? Food is on the floor or I can't grip it. And no can show me properly so I can mimic them because I'm a lefty. So I'll let you know if your method works for me, Hanna. Excellent upload subject. ;-)
Enjoyed the video, I already know how to use chopsticks but still enjoy watching others technique. When I started out, I was making it harder then it actually was, I was trying to hard. By the way, you're very beautiful
Chopsticks are one of the most frustrating things ever lol. They constantly make me feel like a child. I keep trying but I am terrible. God bless the man that invented a fork and spoon.
thank you so much. for some reason I can't do it with my right hand even though I'm right handed and I eat with my right hand. but somehow I managed to do it with my left hand.
It’s very frustrating when I try to follow yours as well as other methods because my chopsticks constantly cross at the end. Do you have any suggestions that my prevent this from happening? Also, do you know the average time length on learning how to use chopsticks? Thank you
Okay so I place chopsticks like she said but I can’t physically move the top chopstick and the bottom keeps sliding down. I can hold move the top chopstick if I hold the bottom one in place with my other hand but I can’t without doing that HELP
I find that resting the chopsticks on the side or the tip of my ring finger works for me. I have small hands and doing it the way it's shown is uncomfortable for me. You have to find what works best for you. It's like exercising or doing yoga ... I find I have to modify it because of my stature. And that's ok
I can't the difference between the two methods(other than how you put them in your hand to begin with), it looks like with both methods you end up griping them the same way.
i’m chinese and i haven’t been able to master the korean chopsticks. i just go by with my bamboo tree chopsticks lmao metal chopsticks are quite slippery for me
sorry I learned from another youtuber for 1 minute pls watch it its for us foodie its so easy and short I learned quickly, guys its better than this vid
