    Thank you, I took my Ultra 6000 apart and was having trouble getting it back together.

    The metal hook at 1:00 is virtually impossible to get off on my pack. I have an extra tall frame so I think that is why. I was able to muscle it off by taking the bag off the frame forks first, but I’m afraid that continuing to do this will rip the bag at the loop holding the bottom hook. Any thoughts? Im starting to think that that metal hook is useless. I’m probably not going to use it.

    Any way you guys could post a video on how to put the adapter kit to an older frame to fit a newer bag? Or at least have a pdf? I'm kind of lost, thanks

      I called and talked to Anthony and he sent me a file on doing that combo with my new 5200 on old frame. Pacific time

      Oh so there is an adapter kit for this. I picked up a 2011 icon 6000. But the bag doent complete come off the frame at the bottom. So you really couldn't haul an elk quarter or such. But mine does have a pouch on the inside that works. Not ideal but. Have to give them a call

    Thank you for this. Does this include the Pack Load Hauler accessory you is purchased separately? If not how does the Pack Load Hauler work in conjunction with the Pro Pack System?

    • @kuiuultralight
      @kuiuultralight  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The Pack Load Hauler would be used in place of the bag, when you don't want to carry the extra weight--for example, you'd pack out your first load with the bag on, remove and leave the bag at camp, install the load hauler, and go back for your second trip with less weight to carry.

      @@kuiuultralight I see! Thank you so much for the quick response. I wanted to ask because I wasn't sure. I assume the clips line up with the Pro Suspension System and Harness, only with out the back pack like you said right?

    • @kuiuultralight
      @kuiuultralight  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, exactly--that's what it's designed to do.

    Is it possible to attach the ‘stalker’ bag to the frame? Pack in with the 5200....set up camp, then load the stalker to the frame, with a kill kit and meat bags, go hunt and if i can get a deer down, pack it out between the frame and the stalker bag?
    If that’s possible......i think ive found my dream bag

    • @kuiuultralight
      @kuiuultralight  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Stalker isn't designed to fit the frame--but the ULTRA 1800 or Icon Pro 1850 are ideal for that. However, I imagine with some creativity you might get the Stalker to work: we have a dedicated Pack Load Hauler that fits on the pack frame that you might be able to combine with the Stalker, if you were going to start hacking products together--that way you could haul meat with the Load Hauler and use the Stalker attached to that.

      KUIU Ultralight Hunting that load hauler is the ticket!!! And if i can somehow attach the stalker to it, i think i found my bag!!!!!
      Its for a hunt this coming winter, so ill keep an eye out for some sales (hopefully save a couple bucks) and find a showroom to check it out in person. I thank you for your time and quick response!!!

      As of right now, our only showroom is the one in Dixon, CA at our headquarters. If you're in San Francisco or Sacramento, it's an easy drive over! As I look at the Load Hauler, there's an easy way to do this--there are two webbing loops at the top of it that would mate perfectly with the clips connected to the Stalker's shoulder straps. You'd need to find another way to connect the lower part of the bag to keep it locked down, but you can easily hang it from the Load Hauler. Again, it's not exactly designed for this but it could probably work pretty well.

    won't that meat just continue to slip and fall out the bottom?

    • @kuiuultralight
      @kuiuultralight  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      There are two straps that secure it from underneath, and the compression from the bag holds it in place as well.

    That's way to much moving things around to pack out meat my full curl system a lot faster better

    • @kuiuultralight
      @kuiuultralight  6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      There's some reconfiguring involved, but the upshot is that our smallest Icon PRO or ULTRA day pack can pack out as much meat as most full-sized packs.

      Not to mention the fact that you’ll never have to make that last trip JUST for your ruck sack. This is such an amazing bag. Thank you!
