Baby bloopers or ice bro they are just some of my favorites in the games. I never buy figure series but I might buy one box.

Great review. I’m glad they give all the characters x2. Makes it easier to collect them all in these random boxes.
The difference between the Sumo Bros is that the new series' one is a normal Sumo Bro, while the older set's bro is the Boss Sumo Bro from New Super Mario Bros. U.
I would be fine with boxes if it had a code telling you what is inside.
I believe the number below the upc might be the tracker for which is which. (Under the upc in the blue section- so say blooper might be 13977. Not positive on this but that number is different for all the individual boxes in this set.
What I have noticed; and it may be different in different regions/countries; is the little sticker on the side of the box. It has different numbers/codes. We had a different number and we haven’t gotten a repeat yet.
It might work, it might not. We had two 23 R3’s and gotten two different characters. We only need two more to complete the set.

My favourite character in this series is the cat goomba because they look so adorable
I was able to get the exact ones I wanted because of this video showing the right side layout. Thank you so much!
So there is a way to know what character you will get (kinda). It worked for me at least. But for this to work you need to be the first to get to them. Each full box comes with 2 full sets. And the characters are placed in the same order front to back. Last time it was Nabbit, then Wasdlewing then Toad etc. this time the order seems to be Spike, Sump Bro etc. if you know the order or boxes, you can deduce which character is where

Sure, Birdo looks great, but why does nobody talk about how Blooper looks IDENTICAL to it’s in-game appearance? way more than any of the other Lego Mario characters.
Edit: Nevermind, I own one now, and I have to say that it looks VERY different in-person than it does in photos and videos.
Got 8 of these Jan 1st, hope i get the full set. Series 6 is really good, ill have to sit down long and hard about my top favourite series so far.
The bigger sumo bro we've got before I think is a diffirent enemy, in New Super Mario Bros. U's 6th world, the 2nd tower, you fight him.
Yeah the Boss sumo bro is the boss version of the sumo bro. They are different enemies. To tell, the boss version always has its eyes shut, whilst the normal ones are open
Yeah and for some reason some people think that sumo bro was boss sumo bro for some reason
And also he shorter than boss sumo bro which is a great touch and changed his body and arms
£5 is a lot but they are pretty nice if you are a fan. Especially the boxed versions are huge compared to the old bag ones. I love the way the toads look.

Lego: saves on plastic bags by putting figures in cardboard boxes
Also Lego: puts the pieces in *2 plastic bags* in the obnoxious cardboard boxes.
The plastic bags are set to be going in sets as well in later date😊

I bought one of these at the LEGO Store yesterday as part of my New Year's haul and I got the Bramball... it's not a bad figure, it's just that I already have one and I don't need a duplicate of it. Literally anything else would've been awesome, but luck was not on my side I guess...
I need Birdo and green toad, if not all of them. Today I got three packs and they ended up being two bloopers and one bramball. I’m not even mad about having all these baby bloopers lmao.
I really want to get these but it’s so annoying that they’re in boxes now. I just want to get 3 to 4 of them but no :(

I've recently bought 2. I've got 8:41 Ice Bro and 10:40 Blooper and Babies. Would be good if Lego did Ghostbusters. He-Man and Game of Thrones series.

I missed out series 5, mostly due to my local Walmart and Target never seemed to have them in stock. I did get 4, but 3 of them were Shyguys, had I known I wouldn't had got them. I'm really bummed out about these boxes.
Ebay has them but those guys on there charge a lot!
I needed a review of these two days ago when I was out shopping so I knew the order but nodoby had made the video yet. I didn't get any character packs as a result.

I try to buy most of my sets from lego to keep building my vip. But these figures I kept buying from target and Walmart solely because if I got doubles I taped them back up and returned them. Getting blind doubles problem solved...💁♂️
I bought a brand new sealed box of these and expected to get 2 of each but at the back, to my furious surprise, found 4 sumo bros and no spikes.

@Chrest. I find them at Target. On the release day, they put out the whole box, and you can grab them individually or take the box up and buy them all

Wait! What? I just found out there's a Lego Birdo and wanted to purchase her, but I'm so confused! There's no way to simply just buy her? I would need to buy a single box for €7,65 and then see which character I bought? That's stupid! 🤷🏼♂️
I wish there was a way to get Lego to change their mind about the box thing. I reason is really dumb when they say they are moving away from plastic, but there are plastic bags inside the boxes!

@@Isaac-ef2rd I really think it is just that they think they will make more money as there will be no more feeling for the mini-figure that you want. I have already heard others say they will just start going to Bricklinks or other third party sells that buy them and then take them out of the box so people will know what they are buying.

The mario characters are pretty good for lego mario fans, but not for people who don't collect that stuff
How are they saving the planet by replacing plastic with cardboard? Cardboard means they need to cut down more trees and looks like they'll need a lot if trees because sell alot.

I kinda hope this is the last series. If you don't find a complete box your basically screwed. As there is no chase fig its pointless for them to be a mystery.

If I wasn’t able to get a full set from each row the boxes would be a deal breaker for me. I’ve always felt up the blind bags to avoid getting doubles. Hopefully the minifigures will distribute the boxes like this if they decide to get rid of the bags.

Most of these designs are not so bad, but god I always hated the Mario and luigi designs especially. Still think minifigures would be way better. Also the overall set designs are not it either 😢

LEGO Mario Bros is way too niche. Why did they not make these into normal mini-figures? That especially would’ve been perfect because of the upcoming Mario Bros movie. These have the same vibe as brick heads. My kids have zero interest in them. Imagine normal mini-figures and LEGO Mario-Kart vehicles.. would have been amazing… like what in the heck were they thinking?
They might make mini figs down the line give it sometime. Wouldn’t call the line niche just because it doesn’t have mini figs Lego isn’t all about mini figs we have gotten some really cool D2C sets out of this line whenever you buy a Lego set the biggest your getting is the set itself and the number of pieces. These’s sets are aimed more towards children aged 6-9 so it makes sense that you wouldn’t like them I’ve seen some children who are obsessed with these.
Lame buying a full box, kids are missing out because of this manchild.
First of all. It’s my job, they replenish it and they can buy them online. There’s 3 other stores in the mall alone that sells them and there’s always online. Cope.
