I don't see Ramstein's guitar work being overlooked. It's quite uninspiring and doesn't take a lot of technicality. On top of it it's artificial and extremely compressed guitar sound that is nothing most players would even want to sound like. It works for them though.

The other Rammstein guitarist, Richard Z Kruspe, also has his signature guitars. The ESP ones are quite expensive, but there was an ESP-LTD limited run of his signature model. It would be cool to see a review of any of those.
I'm glad you liked the guitar. The finish is so primitive and delicate at once, but it stayed in tune, had a surprisingly sweet sound clean, and a nice neck. I did gig it, and kinda miss it already, but fun to see it on your channel :)
I love that band. I'm half German myself and from the moment I heard that band I've been a lifelong fan... fun fact its the only metal band that I know of to have all orginal members not once have they ever had different members ever! That's unheard of in metal Music.. all there albums are classics Also it's rrrammsta(e)in Austin dude roll that R brotha that hurt my half heart to hear you say it wrong man...I hope I get to see them love one DAY... again. Pretty sure his switch to playing Dean's has a lot to do with his realization of how bad he has been ripped off by many in the past. Including his own brother and the Scorpions. Can't recall the interview, but it's on here. Done within the last 5 years....... I was surprised .......

the reason for the topper is; its cheap to buy in bulk from Asia since they already are manufactured and sold on the common market. I have personally used them alone to conform to a curved top with a chrome pickup in it.
The actuall ESP EII Model Eclipse BB BLKS was supposed to be his new signature, but I think the deal wasn‘t signed. So they released the model without his name on it 😎
ESP still makes the black with silver binding one. I don't think the black ESP version was ever an official Paul Landers signature model as ESP has ever since it was released made it under the Standard series (I don't recall it ever being a Signature series guitar or ever having the Paul Landers name officially attached to it).

I love your channel and reviews but the only think I hate is having the separations in the video for "chapters" I would much prefer time stamps in the description. Its just a pain skipping through parts on a phone when it skips to the next chapter or if I want to go back 2 minutes it usually means back to the start then forward. Only gripe I have of any of your content other then that its some of the best basic/technical guitar reviews, and let's face it a lot of us will probably never get the chance to see let alone play some of the guitars you cover
Firebirds have metal pickup rings, but maybe a larger metal humbucker ring set is too expensive for Gibson? (I’m sure I’ve seen them in aftermarket parts shops). Silver binding… have they ever done a “silver widow”? I wonder if whatever they used to dye that fretboard (or whatever technique to do it) caused it to be so unpleasant feeling.
I am a huge Rammstein fan. I have 7 of RZK's signature ESP's, 6 RZK-1's, and an RZK-2. One of each color, and three in silver. I would love to be able to find a Paul Landers Gibson to add to the collection. I am on the lookout for one. If I find yours, I will definitely let you know.
The fit/finish and QC is complete crap on that thing. The binding looks like a grade school kid glued it on with Elmer's. And the back...awful. The "orange peel" isn't the wood grain as you said- it's a crappy prep/paint job. And that fretboard looks like junk with all the lines running through it. I hope Gibson is doing better and can get back to their 50's and 60's quality one day.
1:18 I have the Eclipse PL Signature model and the binding is a joke lol. They just took a regular Eclipse I CTM and painted a silver binding over the existing multiply binding. How do I know? because a part of the binding has just flaked off and I can see the real binding underneath lol.

They have melodic choruses, which make the songs easier to listen to. But that's a great gateway to deathcore. Have a good one!
I had an interest in that "outfit". How is the neck? 50's chunk or 60's slim? I got the Tommy Thayer White Lightning " outfit" despite not being a KISS fan. Slim 60's neck with Seymour Duncan JB's, I absolutely love it.

maybe try some ESP guitar, i saw a ESP "les paul" with 3 strat type single pickup, just like strat but les paul body, and a strat looking ESP guiatr with 3 staples p90 pickup, ESP lot of interesting guiatr, especially japanese signature guitar.

Obeche wood is used in the manufacture of shutters here in South africa and finishes up really smooth. It is very similar to basswood.
On an amp like a Deluxe Rvb, the #2 input helps with high output pickups.

White vinegar works great for cleaning up battery corrosion.
You can clean that corrosion on the battery quite easily. With a small amount of water and baking soda and an toothbrush.

About 6 years ago I was showing my wife one of Austin's videos of a '54 RI Black Beauty (cause I wanted one), and when my Wife saw what Austin looked like she claimed that he is our Son's Doppleganger!

maybe try some ESP guitar, i saw a ESP "les paul" with 3 strat type single pickup, just like strat but les paul body, and a strat looking ESP guiatr with 3 staples p90 pickup, ESP lot of interesting guiatr, especially japanese signature guitar.

Yo Trogly, "Du Hast Mich" in English translates to "You Hate Me".
Du hasst mean you hate, du hast mean you have, this is why Rammstein didn’t accept there songs to be translated in English.
It's a play on words that just doesn't work in english, you would have to write an entire paragraph to explain the meaning
@@charlo2372 from my research, being a fan since I was in 7th grade, seeing them live in 2001 when they toured with Mudvayne, Slipknot and System Of A Down and from the English translation song that Ramstein did themselves, this is what the translation is, "You. You Hate. You Hate Me. You Hate Me To Say. You Hate Me To Say. You Hate Me To Say And I Did Not Obey".
On their album Sehnsuct they do English versions of a few of the songs on the album. One of them is Du Hast. You should check it out.
@@benjaminhawksleysr6573 Sorry, dude, that's wrong. It really is "Du hast mich" (= you own me), not "Du hasst mich" (= you hate me). In the actual lyrics it's a play of words between "hast" (=own) and "hast gefragt" (=have asked) and they actually are about marriage, the vow and cheating.
