This is my first tekken and I played kuma for about 150-200 games and I heard that kuma doesn’t really teach fundamentals bc of his unusual move set so I was looking through characters to play along with kuma so I don’t develop bad habits and people say lars teaches fundamentals plus he just looks cool. I also hope to learn a lot from watching.
@@Thebmanboss you should always play the character you like the most. You can learn fundamentals with Kuma too. It depends on how you play the game. But yeah Lars is definitely a good pick to have fun and learn the game.
@@KaizokuLars 100% and I’m not gonna stop playing kuma bc I just think he’s cool but I didn’t wanna rely on his gimmicks to win and I spent a good 10 hours trying out a bunch of different characters until I stumbled across Lars and he is perfect for my adhd brain. He has big combos flashy moves there’s lightning all over the place and he just looks cool. Sorry for the yapping session lol.

19:34 what a fcking combo. Its hard for me to adjust my combos to the arenas, sometimes they are too big or too smal, i don't get the wall throw mechanic really well yet and you just casually double walling a guy. I wil try to learn

Well you can easily see if someone is cheating in this game or not it's not hard to tell. Also I played in offline tournaments on ps4 many many times against the best players in the world. You can find some matches on TH-cam too.

I've been called a cheater before and it just causes damage for no reason. I stream almost every day, people literally see how I play against top players and I played in offline tournaments where I played on the ps5 against the best players in the world. I don't know what else I can do to stop people for calling me sus lmao

There are high level players that mash too. It’s all about conditioning your opponent. You have options to beat mashers and if you do that they will respect it at one point. At lower levels it takes more time for them to realize and some players will never realize in the set so you have to go for the same option constantly until they stop mashing before you can mix them up.
It really is! I love it. You can even punish some moves with 3+4 which you can't do with other moves and in heat it's a launch. Very good move in my opinion.
