    I use the small size L’Ange… it comes with a plastic cover for the brush so it doesn’t get squished if you cram it in your luggage… I pack carry-on only so this is a huge help for traveling. Cannot do my hair without this type of hair dryer! Also just started using Olaplex - game changer!!!

      Which one is it? I checked out the L'Ange website and couldn't be sure...
      I'm a big Olaplex lover too. But....have you tried K18? I'm a total convert!

      The “smaller” (more like medium plenty big) L’Ange is the 60 MM oval brush head which is sold out a LOT on their site but they do always restock. It comes in several cool colors, I have the Blush and the Stone colors and really love them. The 75 MM is the Larger oval brush head for longer hair. I don’t use the hottest setting though because my hair is fine and highlighted. Hope that helps!

      Lisa Patterson, I am eying the smaller (60 MM) brush. Do you know how it compares with the T3 one? Can't decide!

      I meant, the 60 MM Lange one.

    Thinking of buying this for the same reason as you did! Revelon is too hot for my fine hair and too big!😊

    Hi Mary Thank you so much for this 🙏
    I’ve just got mine and find that a 2 on the heat setting is enough for my fine hair
    I just wanted to check that’s where you sit with the heat between a 2 and a 3
    I think the 4 and 5 are for for thicker hair according to the little booklet
    Great Video Wx

    Mary, SO enjoyed this video (just subscribed) and your completely natural, cool, relaxed vibe! It’s so refreshing to watch your UNSPONSORED honest experience and opinion. I too LOVE my T3 and the sleek, bouncy frizz FREE blowout it gives my fine, highlighted hair! And no burning hair smell like I got with others! I am LIVING for the Day T3 brings out an additional attachment of an OVAL BRUSH which would make this BEYOND Perfect! Looking forward to all your videos! Thanks again for the great care you take to cover all the details we need to know!

      Thank you so much for subbing!! Yes, I'm pretty obsessed with it. I'm in the US right now on holidays and my hair doesn't look 1/2 as goo without it 😬

    I have the Revlon and, when it breaks, I’m going to buy another Revlon. My hair is like yours and is very fine and thin. I use the Revlon when my hair is wet and blow it out and then don’t use it again until I wash my hair again. It gets very hot, but I use a heat protector (Kenra Platinum) and it works too well to justify the cost of a more expensive blow dryer. I just wouldn’t get my money’s worth out of a $200-$500 hair dryer…

      That's my main problem....I wash my hair every day so I'm drying more days than not. My hair must hate me 🤬

  • @martham7198

    Hi Mary. My daughters have the Revlon which I’ve occasionally used with great results but the barrel is too big and that occasionally causes tangling on my long hair. Plus I think it’s too hot. Also have a super old hot brush version from Hot Tools that I like better, smaller barrel, cool shot and more heat settings. As soon as that dies (probably any day! ) i want a new Hot Brush. I’ve also heard Amika’s version is great. I’ll be scouting for sales😀

      You'll have to let me know which way you go in the end. I'll try to stop myself from buying new ones but what else am I going to do on this channel, haha

    Hi ☺️
    I have the smaller version of the revlon and I love it. My hair is maybe an inch shorter than yours. Like you said, the main issue with it is the HEAT !
    I also have a dyson hairdryer (not the airwrap) but I find the revlon quick and easier. Of course, now I’m gonna have to go buy a T3. You totally sold me on it 😂💷💷💷

    • @SkinObsessedMary
      @SkinObsessedMary  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I didn't even know there was a smaller version 🤔
      Please let me know how you like it!

      @@SkinObsessedMary yes, they do one for short to mid length hair, but it doesn’t look much smaller 😄
      I will wait for a good deal, then I’ll be treating myself to the T3 😊

    Hi again Mary, I just watched again and got a better look at the curtain bangs that you’re disappointed in and I have a suggestion: I think the main reason they’re not working for you is that they appear to be blunt rather than more like a layered “face frame” which would look really good on you and blend in much better with your hair even if you do decide to keep growing them out they’ll work much better for you while you’re growing them. My hair is fine like yours and I have the face frame style and it works well.

    • @SkinObsessedMary
      @SkinObsessedMary  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ok this might just make a difference! I haven't hated my hair in many, many years, but the fringe is killing me. So maybe I need to ask for a layered face frame. Is that the term, you think?

    • @lindahoffman2692
      @lindahoffman2692 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Mary, Yes that’s what to ask for - just tell the stylist your intention is to grow them out so NOT to layer the face frame too far down the front of your hair but enough do the “bangs” lsyer around your face in a flattering frame and not just “flop” in a solid piece like they seem to now. I think you’ll be able to call a “cease fire” with your bangs as they grow and you MAY even like the way they make your eyes Pop and keep them!

    Hi I have just bought the T3 and just want to ask is the cool shot genuinely cool as it still seems to be warmish to me. Just want to check in case it's faulty. I've just discovered your channel . Thanks

      Hi there, I'm SO sorry for the late reply.
      To be honest, I don't think any of my dryers are actually genuinely cool shots. They just end to be cooler...

      Yes, definitely! I've seen quite a few videos of long, thick hair (nothing like my own) and I think it works even better 👍

    Love it, thanks Mary! This is on my wish list 🙂 I still love my L'Oreal Steampod and I don't think I'll stop using it anytime soon. It's bulky to use & impossible to carry around though. Did you manage to fall in love with it yet? It seems like you prefer the round brush way of styling! I've just started using the L'Oreal Extraordinary Oil and it's great for heat protection. I got a mini size but will buy the full when this is used up.

    • @SkinObsessedMary
      @SkinObsessedMary  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Do you find the Oil weighs your down? I've seen it but haven't picked up. However, I'm addicted to the Olaplex No 7 Oil and use everyday. No...the SteamPod and I have not become lovers. I keep trying but just can't get the hang of it. I may just sell it on...OR watch more tutorials 🤔

    • @TheMijas07
      @TheMijas07 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SkinObsessedMary The oil doesn't weigh my hair down (I have very fine hair) I just rub it between my palms and apply after conditioner while my hair is wet. Then I apply another tiny little bit of oil when my hair is dry. I'm happy with it at the moment & it looks like the mini size is going to last me for months. I'd love to try Olaplex but it's a bit too expensive. It'd be interesting how the L'Oreal oil compares, if you decided to try it. Much cheaper and to me, it does the job! Yes, if the Steampod isn't working for you....do sell it on. You've given it a fair go by the sounds of things :-)
