Playing the victim by talking about her mental health but doesn't mind fleecing the taxpayers.. Another example of utter contempt by these nobody's..
Imelda has her by the short and curlies . O leary is in a double corner when she resorts to her mental health , this is her last line of defence , just appalling from someone on a salary that is massive .
When she is struggling to get her license fee together, then she will know all about her mental health. So many people stressed and worried about finding this money. Her mental health will be fine. She will probably get a nice big golden handshake in a few weeks when she retires.

A lot of people never paid it in the full knowledge RTE was a curropt organisation. I was certainly never going to donate towards the 'stars' million euro wages, and don't even get me started on that Lotti Ryan getting paid to pop up for a few minutes every hour on a morning show to tell us what the Kardashians have been up to.

She pulled the "My Truth" and "mental health" cards. Contempt is right!! Geraldine is essentially claiming that the revenue she collected as part of her job spec, wouldn't have materialised had her husband not been sponsored to these social events. Flagrant lies. There ertainely seems to be a lot of people pulling the purse strings at RTE suffering from mental health problems all of a sudden. Was this not noticed during their interview? did they not have to take a medical to ensure they were compitant?
while i get where you are coming from- as someone who has long-term mental health issues it's not a nice feeling to read someone equating it with being incompitant. There are millions of people who suffer from these issues (myself included) who do not let them get in the way of their work.I wouldn't really be surprised if these people were just feigning a lot of this stuff to get the spotlight even momentarily off of themselves, but what you said isn't really fair to be honest. They are simply unprofessional, but don't paint everyone with these issues with the same brush.

Which implies that the interviewers should have noticed that they have mental health issues and not given them jobs because it makes them incompitant.
it's difficult to read that and not have the same takeaway from your comment as I did honestly. Maybe you should consider re-reading these comments before you post them.
@@amyosullivan8629 Maybe instead of me 're-reading' my comments you shouldn't be looking for something to be outraged at? There is nothing confusing about my comment, a large number of people have to take medicals before they start working in certain jobs and even while interviewing someone, especially for an hi profile directors role, it would make good sense to determine if that person can handle the pressure that comes with the role, we've now had two board members say they are suffering mental health issues. The only people making light of it are the RTE elite because they are clearly feining an illness they don't have, or they were unsuitable for the position to begin with.
