Im gonna start off by saying that i have not watched through part 3 because i dropped that shit so hard. First off jotaro is an asshole, idk how anybody on this planet earth can find this character enjoyable. There is no character development in part 3. They were just following the same villain of the week formula. Polnareff is probably the best character in part 3, and trust me that thing with avdol just felt too forced. I dropped around after the time they beat anubis. I was actually happy that they beat the final one and we're moving on to dio, turns out theres ANOTHER group. And its the SAME thing as before. Theres no plot, no world building, no, plot twists, literally just the same thing. At least part 2 had some kind of plot going on for it. Snooze fest fr i dont even want to see dio anymore i really frankly do not care... Fr at least the characters in part 2 for example had some personality. Kakyoin is another jotaro, avdol is another jotaro, only joseph and polnareff were OK but joseph literally is just some joke in part 3, he was so badass in part 2 and they butchered the character hard. Part 2 was good, it wasnt stretched out, no villain of the week, and characters have some personality especially joseph. Now the pros about part 3... Stand designs are cool, the battle iq that is displayed in every fight is nothing short of insane, props to araki for that, and the color swaps give a nice vibe. And i guess villains are very creative, stands are creative, uhh dio is cool i guess but we didnt see shit from him which is kind of stupid becuase we already saw his face in part 1 so he aint mysterious or anything, and the voice actors are cool. SO overall ive heard so many things about part 3 on how it's really good and it did not live up to the hype for me.
