Starts out DED from the adorable (also totally distracted from work so distracted and DED) 2. Puppy dog eyes are ALWAYS allowable. This is the way. 3. This did feel important for them - this was a level of intimacy and sensuality that most depictions of a vampire bite never achieve. 4. The best wording I can find is that you managed to depict it as an act of absolute love. The nature of a vampire bite is selfish. It has to be. Yet there is a holding back here, there's checking in and there's celebrating. They reassured one another, enjoyed the moment together - and maybe that's the best wording. Every step was together. All of it. I could wax poetic about the power of that - being absolutely in step with someone during a profoundly important moment. Being one. And that you can convey that in 20 some odd minutes is a gift.
