  • Use a posidrive screwdriver. Don't touch the bulb .also you have to turn a few times to see the movement. Count the turns for your reference put car in front of a wall so you can gauge the adjustment needed .also measure the distance from head light to wall.so if it needs changing you can adjust accordingly.

Thank you for this video. I was in the same boat you are I could literally find nothing on how to adjust them. Before this I had 2004 Dodge Stratus and that was so simple to adjust headlights for, but this thing I could not figure it out till this video. So again thank you.

Can't see anything you're making reference to.

Thanks for the effort. Can you add information about turning clockwise and counter clockwise for adjusting up or down. Which is which. Of course playing with it we can discover, but would be nice to have it specified here
Better lighting of course would improve it a lot
    Thanks all the same

I had to research what posidrive means, apparently it's just a slight improvement on the Phillips a.k.a. Worst Screw Design Ever. Will Phillips work as an alternative?

Are you sure you are right with your horizontal and vertical? I adjusted my top one to drop my beam down a bit?

"I'll shine a light on it ..." and on some other things as well, a screwdriver that the autogenerated subtitles calls a "positive drive", that's from the front but I won't say where the front is ...
After a lot of back-and-forth within the video, and replaying, I figure out what it all means; but it would have been simpler for all of us if the author had just made things clear in the first place.

What year is your mazda 6, is it the same generally between all the model years? I have a 07 mazda 6 and my drivers high beam is shining way too high up into tree tops and my passenger side seems slightly low bouncing the beam off the road approximately 30 feet in front the car

Both of those adjusters on my 08 Mazda 6 adjust the height only. Xenon

I guess one does the high beam (lamp itself) and the second one does low beam? I replaced my left lamp and it about 15cm higher 5m away. So i need to get that fixed.

You don't suppose that you might like to mention the car you're working on? You DO realize that different manufacturers with different models of different years all do things differently, yes?

Why make a video if you don't even have a flashlight?
