- Creed Aventus is one of the most legendary fragrances to have ever been created. It is truly a masterpiece fragrance whether you like it or not. Years after its release the house of Creed Released a flanker called Creed Aventus Cologne. Some might be slightly confused on the difference between the two and are probably which one they should buy. Some might have the original Aventus and are wondering if they should stick with what they have or upgrade. I try to cover these points and many more.

I have both and love both, but I prefer the cologne.
Good review. For me its Creed Aventus for ever. I also like Aventus Cologne, but on my skin it smells like Armani Acqua di Gio after one hour. Also original Aventus projects better on me, sometimes longevity is almost 8 hours, which is crazy for 2024 batches, but sometimes its only 4 hours, depends on weather i think. And if you love fresh fragrances, try Louis Vuitton Imagination, i think you are not gonna be disappointed. I bought it like 3 weeks ago and people in work telling me that they can smell me everywhere, which is crazy for the fresh scent 😀 also i dont pick up any synthetic smells from Imagination, which is awesome for the designer brand, so for me it equals for niche quality.

I have both and I must say the Cologne takes the win. The subtle citrus notes blends in too well with the woody pineapple notes.
After years of having both, I thought I’d prefer AC, but the other day I sprayed Aventus and the drydown of next day was just so good! It’s difficult to decide.
Absolu Aventus is a gamechanger
So I tried AC on my right arm OG on left few days ago. Sprayed at 11AM the OG lasted on my skin for 8hrs some how the AC lasted on my skin 16hrs. The OG smells better in my opinion. But AC smells great as well. It’s like a water down version but sweeter. The AC do project more on my skin as well. But I like the OG better I will get both. AC in the summer and OG all year and summer nights
Yeah if you really enjoy the Aventus DNA, you can definitely do that, OG all year and AC in the summer
I’m in the process of buying one or the other and it has been an extremely difficult decision so far. At first, I was like 100% on board with the cologne but I then got testers of both and I like the complexity of the original a bit better. The cologne seems perfect for warm weather days. I’m still on the fence and now your video is making the decision harder haha!

I’m in the same position, which one did you end up going for? And how did it work out? I’ve heard that the original is more masculine smelling than the cologne but the cologne seems to be more popular with the ladies lol

i had a total of 6 creed perfumes, 3 aventus and 3 irish.
I’ll be real. The original Aventus will always be something special in the world of fragrance. But Aventus Cologne is just a way better version of it. Brighter, fresher, projects way more. And of course the compliment factor is unlike the original Aventus. Which from what I’ve seen, mostly men will compliment a guy wearing the original because, well it’s a scent that guys love. It’s fresh, woody and Smokey. Whereas the Aventus cologne is fresh and woody, but doesn’t have that Smokey drydown. Which ain’t a bad thing. Plus women seem to like that one a bit more. Idk, that’s just what I’ve seen.
If I could only own 2 fragrances it would be aventus cologne and PDM Herod.
Or grab yourself some CDNIM and save yourself a heap of time and money. Edt is freaher, edp and limited edition are heavier.

I own both of these and in my experiance the Aventus is way too weak. I do really like the cologne though which seems to lastg longer similar to the other Creeds I have.

Just bought AC batch F001289, performance is still undetermined for me. It is either I go noseblind or it is not as strong?

My F batch is pretty good.
Wear on skin. When you want to smell it, jog in place for a sec and heat your body up.
Love how i just ordered a sample of both for 30 dollars, no need to buy full bottles when you have so many fragrances
