Man……that makes me need to go fishing!
I’m thinking about using a go pro to record my trips as well. Can you talk about your setup? I’m a total go pro noob. Thanks.

I’m using Hero5 … 3 of them… 2 of the plug into power source under my shifter and are on the windshield… Chestie has an aftermarket battery around the go pro… gives it 6 more hours… Great question Thanks for watching

@@Fish30 thanks for the reply. Are you using a suction cup mount? Mounting it to windshield? I have a Basscat with a very small curved windshield. Im wondering if I can suction cup to fiberglass…….would hate to lose a camera because I bought a bad mount.
      Thanks.

No suction cups…. Go pro mounts that is put on windshield and are left on …then the camera with a flexible goose neck detached from the windshield mounts… I run 2 one looking forward one looking back

Sorry its taken so long...Im thinking your loving the big spinnerbait pole from GLoomis...I do have 3 poles with cork handles but that one is a great plopper and topwater pole I use a lot on camera...SBR864...7'2"...3/4 to 1 1/2 ounce made for throwing big spinners but...WOW one of my favorite for sure....Works for a lot of techniques....Thanks for watching

In Missouri we have a web site… search Mo water patrol/regatta… you can search any lake and any month and see what is being planned… Polar bear tournament circuit comes to mind.. Thanks for watching

Curious to know why you and your partner don't both fish up front? Not knocking your fishing preference just curious. Seems like on a windy day, boat position is critical.

We’ve tried but it makes the video harder to watch … seems crowded … it would work if we had a cameraman I bet but …. Low budget production … and you are so right on boat positioning…. And super low water conditions make it hazardous to your boat .. that’s why I run up front after landing Joe’s fish… to prevent scratching.. Thanks for watching

      To prevent scratching.?.
I don't thinknhe was referring to scratches probly more like you having to posistion the boat for you and him instead of if you both were in front you wouldn't have to worry about the back having any position.
When I have someone fishing with me ,as long as we are both on the same page amd throwing the same shit ,it's alot betterfor me to operate the trolling motor and position the boat .good vid
      Lol hehehe
