I made t5 nationals many moons ago using him, (we used to call him "bob" back in the zaibatsu days) so I've always understood the psychology of a hwo player. This is the best version of him in quite some time. They gave him so many routes to still play stances, AND play what you kids today refer to as small tekken. IMO namco did a good job with Steve and Howarang, dangerous characters but not spamable at super high level.

You just have to time it. There isn’t really a trick to it. The only way I could help is to say to slide your finger super fast.
