I decorate every room for Christmas too! I begin mid-October decorating the private spaces with their trees and decor. Then on November 1st, I take down autumn and Halloween (which is only in the public spaces). Then the public spaces get decked out for Christmas! Can't wait to see your decorating videos!
Your decorating is beautiful. Love that idea about scrapbooking/Journaling everyday. I am a scrapbooking so can appreciate the treasure created. Happy crafting!
@@karolrobles504 Thank you! It’s a fun project to do in October and December with all the fun activities and traditions we have going on in those months!
I love your tree and would love to see your Christmas bow tree. I pull all autumn decor on November 1st and start decorating for Christmas as soon as I can! ❤🎄
Thank you Maggie for sharing the picture behind you and the interesting story behind it! All your Halloween decorations are so fun, I know it must take you awhile to put them all up (and then take down!).
Another awesome video Maggie! I’m here to say please show us allllll the things crafting/decorating it’s a joy to watch 😊 I can’t wait to see your Halloween rules finished your unique way ❤
I would love to see how you make your bows & decorate your tree....and a Halloween house tour. I'm with you on decorating mid-Nov for Christmas, as I have aged I have gotten slower at decorating. I put out a lot for Christmas & as you said I want to sit with a Christmas throw on me & watch Hallmark & Great American Family & enjoy the twinkle lights of my trees & battery operated candles. Life is short, enjoy what we like !
Another great floss tube… You’ve def inspired me to haul out the Halloween decorations…now that I have a grand baby, and her parents just moved into a newly built home in a cute new subdivision so I’m sure I’ll share my decorations with them this year. We are having my granddaughters first birthday on October 19th and it’s going to be Halloween themed. So fun! She’s dressing up as Little Red Riding Hood and her daddy will be the Wolf 🤭
I’m thoroughly enjoying your FlossTubes! I purchased the Judith Kirby charts from the Michigan person a few years ago. She doesn’t always have them available. So you may have to wait on a reprint of them as I did. I need to get started on them. Love all your decor! I would love a home tour as well as any process videos you can do!
Okay, that is good to know! As soon as I see the charts out there, I will link them for those who are searching. Thank you so much-I would love to share those things!

I love your colors for the SAL so much! Is it Monday yet??? Lol. Decorating is not my strong suit at all and I'm so amazed at how beautifully you do it! I can't wait to see your Christmas decorations and hopefully get a little inspiration from it myself.
@homemadeontheridge that's true...I didn't even think about what I was asking for 🫣😆 I need to enjoy the weekend and try to get a lot of stitching in on my other projects.
Thanks for the video.I looked for the mystery Sal, but nothing pulled up…. Bummer. Nothing in the description to really to guide and find it. Moving along.
You should be able to search “Stitchingly Stitch Alongs” in Facebook and it will pop up, request to follow the group and then you’ll be able to find the details on the mystery SAL if you’re still interested.
I enjoy watching your videos, and yes please show a video of the HALLOWEEN decorations, And when you decorate for CHRISTMAS, show it to. See you next time.
I commented earlier but don’t see it here. That’s weird! Of course I’d love to see your bow-making process! And ANY home tours you would do for us would be a pleasure to see! Please! With your scrapbooking, have you ever watched Stitching by the Shore? She also scrapbooks some of her stitched pieces. Thx for the fantastic videos you put on all the time! Hey I used to live in Hope, AR. I googled your friend last week and am enthralled. I still have a lot of Chef decor. So I’m thinking about her stuff a lot. That print in your craft room is super cool. And including you all in that artwork is well…who else can say that? I mean wow! But as I told you last week, that Chef piece in your kitchen grabbed me right away. I knew there used to be x-stitch patterns with her artwork. The Stitchery carried them. But I searched and could find them anywhere. So looking forward to your next video! That banner’s gonna be so cool! Thx!
Well I had to pop in again. I’m West home Calico Whimsy on Flosstube. This latest video came out today. Talk about the cutest Halloween ornaments. Felted, stitched and beaded from Bucilla. I thought of you immediately. She lives in CO. She does vlog-style videos.
Yes! I would love to see your process of decorating! Is it weird that I always wonder too how people store their decorations for every season. That is a lot of reason why I don’t decorate as much as I would like because I don’t know how to keep organized and store it all. I also wonder, do you keep generic things out year round at all or do you just change everything out for the season? Sorry…these are things I’ve always wondered about. 🫢
@@GowiththeFloStitcher No, it’s not weird! 😆 My husband has a shop building and I have a long storage room in the back of one corner of it where I store all my seasonal things. I do try to stay organized and donate or toss things I’m not using each year so I don’t over accumulate. Staying organized helps a ton!! The everyday decor that comes down (like the stuff that is usually on top of the TV cabinet, inside my hutch and on the mantel) is literally stacked in a corner in my bathroom next to our tub. 🤷🏼♀️🤣 Guests can’t see it, and I don’t wanna pack it all way just to haul it back inside (it’s a bit of a trek out to the storage room).
