      do they not understand that "niceness" doesn't mean they're invited to stay? that people can be kind, chill, vibing you could say, but neither expect nor want you to stay the night? "feeling welcomed" is not the same thing as BEING welcomed. like just because i FEEL as though someone likes having me around, doesn't mean i can expect them to be chill if i just went and made myself comfy in their guest bedroom having not been explicitly invited to stay the night.
      call it a stretch (but i don't really think it is) but consent is the exact same way. doesn't matter if they seem to like you, doesn't matter if they agreed to let you do something one time, you need to get a definitive "yes" EVERY time. she let you stay one night? cool, she consented to that. she locks the door and never verbally (or via text) tells you the door's unlocked so you can stay over another night? she didn't consent to another sleepover. all the niceness in the world doesn't mean "yes". only "yes" means "yes".

Most of them are cool and crash, are respectful of the place and your things and get out when they say they're leaving. But then you get those who have no respect for your things at all and just make themselves at home and don't do what was promised. If you set up boundaries or tell them to leave, they act like "wow, I've been so nice and you said I could stay," acting flabbergasted as to why you're suddenly being such a meanie. I had this happen to me several times in my life and I had to put my foot down and kick them out. Then they want to act like I was the bad guy. I had a crash course in "Why IDGAF." I have a feeling there are a whole bunch of women & short term rental owners that have a whole bunch of similar stories about these two guys. This is their schtick because they get away with it. Unfortunately because this girl is the first to come out with it, she’s going to get the heat. The roommates boyfriend needs to no longer be allowed in the house. Period.

      @AcousticGString 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The girls didn't have the balls to throw the moochers shit out and refuse entry, they let them in and didn't protest when they just flopped all over the place. Squatting doesn't necessarily have to be in an uninhabited property, there have been plenty of situations where a room was rented and the person just stopped paying or someone has a friend over for a couple days and they just never leave, refuse to more like. The law says they establish residency after 30 days but people now just fill out a fake lease or say there was a verbal agreement, hence the changing of the laws. These dudes didn't break in, they were let in by push overs but if they had entered the home with people there without someone opening a door to their whining it would be a home invasion. One thing to take from this for everyone watching is to stand up for yourself and get a CCP, especially 2 young women who travel and live by themselves most of the time.

    Something that men should be aware of is that a lot of women will avoid direct confrontation in person. That doesn't mean they are okay with what is happening, but it is simply safer for us to not openly antagonize a man.
    Please understand that on average, men are a lot stronger than women and openly antagonizing a man, especially someone who is intoxicated and therefor has a lot less inhibitions than he usually might, is risky. Tolerating bad behavior doesn't mean we are fine with it, and you shouldn't take that as permission to just do whatever you want.
    Further, jumping the fence and climbing up to someone's window suggests that you don't have a problem with breaking the law, making antagonizing you even riskier.
