Whenever I hear Winston Hibler’s voice, I’m transported back to grade school in the 60’s. Watching these true life adventure filmstrips were mesmerizing to a kid like myself growing up in Phoenix AZ. Thank you for this!
I don't know what my life would have been.like without Walt Disney! At 66 years old I was lucky to have him the first 9 years of my life. He opened the whole world to me.
Walt’s nephew and Roy O. Disney’s son, Roy E. Disney was a huge proponent of the True Life Adventure films and was instrumental in getting nearly all of them released to DVD! He is sorely missed….
And Roy E was also instrumental in the Disney Renaissance. He saved the Animation department. There's a reason the Animation Building was named after him.
Roy E. Disney wrote these other episodes for the Disneyland Anthology: - Three Without Fear: Lost on the Baja Peninsula (1971), The Silver Fox and Sam Davenport (1962), Flash, the Teen-Age Otter (1961), Zorro: The Postponed Wedding (1961)
Even though I wasn’t born in the 1950’s, I’m loving these classic Disneyland anthology episodes.

Disney of that era was magical. It oozed specialness and benevolence. Today's Disney?
I try not to compare…keeps me in good spirits! So thankful we have access to Walt era content here and in our own personal collections!
