I hear a faint beeping like a truck is backing into my drive. I go all around the house looking for this truck backing up….then I realize it’s coming from the show!
Bo Nix, has alot of potential. He understands the game in his mind. The combination of his arm accuracy and decision making gives him a greater opportunity to succeed. He has the character to appreciate the opportunity he's been given. I believe in the person of, Bo Nix.
Palmer just filled in a lot of intangible blanks that weren't being recognized. That was a good watch, but we can quit pouring sugar on Stidham. He's good, but...in Denver he's looking like the next door on the turnstile. Denver would take Wilson before him at this point because they want 'now', and not talking about draft picks and meat-potatoes defense the start of next year.
Turn o Jarrett Stidham's tape of his first start in the NFL against the 49ers. He lit up the best defense in the NFL for 34 points, 360 yards & 3 TDs. We have actually seen Stidham do it...not against bench players on the Colts & Packers but agaisnt the NFL's best. We have not seen Nix do anything but throw a series of short dump off passes, screens, sideline throws & a couple he hit wide open recievers with further than 10 yards in the middle of the field. In fact, he looked a whole lot like Russell Wilson minus the sacks...but he also never faced any blitzing & was looking at very basic, vanilla defenses. I very much hope Nix is the guy...but I saw nothing in preseason to indicate he's ready. What I saw was the fawning press acting like he's the 2nd coming of Peyton Manning & that's about it. I know Sean is gushing over him, but here's the thing...he said all the same exact things he's saying now about Bo back in 2015 about Garrett Grayson, the former CSU Ram that he drafted i the 3rd round. He even claimed that he was the only QB in that draft that interested him. He praised his intelligence, decision making, quick release, accuracy & ability to get the ball out quickly...all the same stuff he's been saying about Bo. Grayson never played a down in the NFL in a real game. He was cut in favor of mediocre journeyman Luke McNown, & subsequently flopped in tryouts with Atlanta & Denver as well. Sean deservedly gets all the credit in the world for coaching up Brees & going to the Super Bowl with Kerry Collins. He is definitely in the upper echelons of coaches when it comes to working with veteran QBs...as we also saw with what he did with Bridgewater & Winston in New Orleans. But he has never coached a rookie starter in his career. We are about to find out whether he can do that also...because it is not the same thing. We all need to tap the brake a bit on the expectations for Nix. The pressure being put on this guy is ridiculous.
Yeah unlikely he’ll outplay… Mahomes, Jackson, Allen, Love, Burrow, (may or may not Williams), Stafford, Prescott, Tua, Goff, Purdy, Stroud, Hurts and Herbert. Good luck being better than all of them your rookie year.
Palmer was his QB trainer when he came out of Auburn & went to the Patriots, so he knows Stidham well. He was also the QB trainer for Josh Allen & Joe Burrow, so he's obviously pretty good. Palmer said at the time that he had never seen any college QB who was less prepared by what he got in college than Stidham. Here's the thing about that... Nix played in exactly the same system Stidham did for 4 of his 5 years in college. Let that sink in. He played in the No Huddle-Hurry Up system used by Gus Malzahn his first two years with the Tigers. He played for Malzahn's OC Kenny Dillingham his first season in Oregon & Will Stein his second year, who also ran the same thing. Stidham has subsequently spent 5 years in the best QB rooms in the NFL sitting behind All Pros, future HOF quarterbacks, Super Bowl winners & superb coaching. Payton said when he signed him that he had all the same characteristics that he is now praising Bo for. But this was never a real competition. Sean put his finger on the scale for Bo the same way Fangio did for Teddy Bridgewater. Let's hope Nix is really ready, because Mahomes & Brees sat for a year.
Jordan Palmer claimed that no QB he had ever seen enter the NFL was less prepared by his college experience than Jarrett Stidham, who had 1 year at Baylor in the Art Briles spread offense & two at Auburn playing for Gus Malzahn...the architect of the No Huddle-Hurry Up system that severely limits the ability of the defense to adjust personnel on the field. Bo Nix played 4 of his 5 years in the exact same offense that Palmer said did nothing to prepare Stidham...but now Nix is ready because he played an extra year in that? Stidham had 4 years in the best QB rooms in the NFL. Nix has had 4 weeks. Really??? Explain how that makes any real sense. I watched every one of Nix's plays this preseason, both passes & runs & ran the tape back repeatedly numerous times to be sure I knew what was going on with the rest of the players on the field. Nix threw it 30 times in the two games he played in, & NONE of them were what we needed to see to know if he's ready for the NFL. Almost every pass was the same thing he did at Oregon...a check down, short dump off, screen to the RB, or something else at, near or behind the LOS. The few downfield balls he threw were almost all to the sidelines, & he completed only 2 passes farther than 10 yards that were in the middle of the field. He also misfired badly on at least 3 passes that were in the middle of the field longer than 10 yards, mainly because he was throwing off platform...and doing so for no reason. He failed to plant his feet & it impacted his accuracy. He threw one that absolutely should have been picked. He fumbled a snap. He threw one that he let go when he was well past the LOS & he & his receiver had one in which they had a miscommunication on the field & it could have been picked of fin the end zone had the DB been a step closer. The fact is there was no QB competition in Denver between Nix & Stidham. Sean put his finger on the scale for Bo the same way Vic Fangio did for Teddy Bridgewater over Drew Lock. Anybody who saw the way Stidham got almost no reps can see this easily. I hope Nix is ready, but Mahomes & Brees had to sit a year & Brees was not very good for 27 starts. I see no reason to think that Nix playing an extra year in the Malzahn Air Raid is gong to make him more ready than either of those guys were.
Bo Nix will give Nick Wright a heart attack😂
If he beats the Chiefs twice, he may 😂
So funny seeing the media and fans love Bo nix now lol. Where was all this faith before the draft 😅 So many fans that told me jj was better 💀
Big facts the tune has changed so quick
Exactly and some are still hating on him.
I hear a faint beeping like a truck is backing into my drive. I go all around the house looking for this truck backing up….then I realize it’s coming from the show!
There has been a forklift in the background on the show recently. Maybe aome type of construction work outside the set.
I thought I was going crazy…
Lmfao we have a trailer with an alarm in our yard and it sounds identical to that noise I thought it was the trailer
Same! LMFAO

uhhh Stidham has never lit it up...ever. He is a backup QB and nothing more.
Completely agree Stidham has never looked like a starting NFL QB Ever!
Look at the games he's talking about when he was with the raiders. He balled out against the 49ers and a very good 49ers team.
Learn football. Watch film. Only you couch potatos think backup qbs dont matter lol
When he was a raider he went crazy what are you talking about .
@@colehopkins1818 Then why didn't they keep him as their starter??

Bo Nix will be the first rookie to be an MVP
Preach on Brother!!!
😂😂😂

Bo Nix will be the first rookie to win the Super Bowl twice in one year
Jim Brown was the first rookie mvp
Maye looks so uneven and uncomfortable to me, its going to be hard for him to succeed early, especially with the awful New England organization.
Uncomfortable what you was watching because that shall wasn't maye
Uncomfortable? Lmso what games were you watching. He was comfortable, poised, and decisive
You don’t have to be a QB guru to know you don’t put a rookie QB with a terrible O-line in on week one. 🙄
Elaborate please.
The Broncos don’t have a terrible O-Line
@@ponderingmonk525he’s talking about the patriots

QB “guru”? Jordan Palmer?? Tf 😂😂😂
No Nix is the new Bill Bratski
Makes no sense at all. Keep it up, lol😂

Nix is "NFL ready" Mac Jones type, and Maye is more athletic and better in every way and still has a lot more growing to do simple
Nix is a much better talent than Mac
@Troll-vj6sy didn't say he was mac cam you read. I said he is NFL ready
Bo nix isn’t better then maye
