Robert as Booby Vee lives long in the memory for myself and my family. In 1996 I was 13 and remember absolutely loving his performance. That weekend I went hunting around with my dad to find a cd that had the song on. We finally found a 'best of the 60s' cd with it on and I remember playing it over and over. As I result I also discovered other amazing songs like 'Ferry Cross the Mersey' by Gerry and the Pacemakers and 'No Milk Today' by Hermans Hermits plus many others. There weren't many other 13 year olds listening to this stuff at my school :) Thank you Robert
Oh, that's brilliant thank you for so much! I haven't seen the Champion of Champions since this was originally broadcast back in 1999. It was a wonderful way to bring back all 10 series winners from 10 years of Stars in Their Eyes to battle it out to be crowned Stars in Their Eyes' Champion of Champions.
