This game is my favorite. The chakrams are the best weapons. R.A. Salvatore, who wrote the Forgotten Realms books, worked on this game. Double thumbs up.
so happy your trying this! first Fable then you treat us to this old gem, sadly never recognised as it should as released at same time as Skyrim. Watching your reactions is a joy. Thank you from a Level 57yr old gamegal for another all time personal favourite. Enjoy xx
I've never heard of this game but it looks amazing. Thanks for showing it on the stream. I definitely have to play it, and I hope it continues as a series.
Welcome to KoA! I got the game when it released but only finished the core story last year myself. A few recommendations: invest skill points in crafting (blacksmithing and sagecraft) maybe alchemy if that’s your thing, dispelling about 2/3, sneak if you stick with finesse, and detect hidden to find loot caches and hidden doors and eventually lorestones and chests on the map. Crafted gear is nearly always better than what you will find *but* will make the game easier Fire is almost always the answer to what do I use in my weapons Buy lockpicks and backpack upgrades! Keep a good stock of lockpicks and you will not be poor Naturally, it’s your playthrough, so feel free to ignore this
Such a great game. I played the original. Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is a 2012 action role-playing game developed by Big Huge Games, and published by 38 Studios and Electronic Arts for Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
This game was sick back in the day. Basically a single player world of warcraft. Used to get absolutely baked and play this non stop theres so much content to go through.
Great stream, thank you! Can't believe I never seen this one before. Was a great intro to it. Loved it enough to go buy it. Can't wait for the next episode. Love to all the Fam!
You can get sneak attack critical with storm bolt if you have points in assassins art in finesse tree. 2 points in detect hidden will get you way more loot which is good for completing armor sets
Yo! KOA! this will be a blast! Cmiiw but i think this came out around 2011/2012 around when Skyrim released. Also, Finesse/Sorcery is OP. 😊 Most never heard of this game as it was overshadowed by Skyrim.
I played the original back in the day and the port when it released (remaster is a stretch) and it's such a great RPG. Not a tonne of replayability imo since you can respec your character anytime, but the game itself is amazing on the first time around!!
This game was originally developed by Big Huge Games and distributed by 38 Studios, a gaming company started by the baseball player Curt Shilling. He partnered with author R.A. Salvatore (Who is a very well known author because of his Drizzt novels set in the Dungeons and Dragons world of The Forgotten Realms) to create this game as an introduction to the world of Amalur in preparation of an MMORPG that would be set in that world called Project Copernicus. Kingdoms of Amalur underperformed and 38 Studios went bankrupt, causing the cancellation of Project Copernicus and a sequel to Kingdoms of Amalur.
If there's one thing you might need to plan out for maximum performance, it's the skill levelling. Atleast as I remember from the original, i've been planning on completing the re-reckoning. There are a bunch of trainers to level up the skills, but they're all bound within a limit, so if you use the better ones before the worse ones, you couldn't max them up. I think beginner professions had 2 trainers each, but i'm not sure if 1 or 2 for the higher tiers.
this game was originally meant to be an MMO but got changed in development. If you notice towns seem "empty" the reason is they were making room for player characters
Bro, I don’t know why your chat didn’t tell you that you need to put points in finesse and sorcery. They have a fate for the exact build you want if you have points in both.
I played this because of R.A. Salvatore worked on this. It was a favorite of mine for a long long time
@@centary2004 great books!
I didn't know he worked on it until more than halfway through the game . I grew up on the books.
Salvatore wrote the story while the Spawn creator was responsible for the art
Thanks for taking the time to try this out bro! One of my top 10 games, great memories with this one!

Yo! KOA! this will be a blast! Cmiiw but i think this came out around 2011/2012 around when Skyrim released. Also, Finesse/Sorcery is OP. 😊 Most never heard of this game as it was overshadowed by Skyrim.
Yeah they went bankrupt because they launched within a few weeks of each other. This game was super expensive to make too.
Wow, I didnt know this game was like this. Enjoying your play through!
Man, this game was amazing. I loved it back in the day. Didn't actually realise it had a remake out!

Respeccing is easy, regearing is not so much
I wish people gave this more likes, I'd like to see the complete playthrough.
Sorry I missed your stream but I hope you enjoy this game. It's a great game. I also hope you are feeling better
Thought u might like the chakrams. I wish other games had them. Waite until u get to craft weapons. Make sure blacksmith and sage craft up.
Played this game when it first came out, and the remastered. Played all classes. Awesome game I'll be watching
If i remember rightly one of the people behind this game is the person that created Spawn, can't remember his name though unfortunately.

Brian - please keep mimicking iconic energy attacks when you use magic in the future “Hadouken!” 😂
love the content bud 👍
More game like this and Fable. I love RPG games. Maybe try Gothic if you didint play it already. Older game but one of the best game.
This game is the joint. Played in few years back.
Keep up the good work.

this game was originally meant to be an MMO but got changed in development. If you notice towns seem "empty" the reason is they were making room for player characters

Bro, I don’t know why your chat didn’t tell you that you need to put points in finesse and sorcery. They have a fate for the exact build you want if you have points in both.

Those chakrams lol
Very nice game 👏
Yes Sir! :)
If memory serves, the Chakrams can take on damage at some point and need repair.
play it more
This is one of the best RPGs ever… it had the misfortune to be released shortly after Skyrim.
How does it compare to dragon dogma?
You should try pathfinder and dragon age
skyrim/fable hybrid style classic rpg game
Comments count!

Sell everything to Nanne Hanri and get 25-50% more than from other vendors...unless this Re-Reck changed it.
