Editorials are okay. Avoid news articles because they are sensationalised and are made to grab eyeballs. Get into the habit of reading what you don't like. That's the key. Don't waste your money on stuff behind the pay wall, Aeon is good.

Indore/Shillong might call at 93-94 as well. Depends on their criteria actually. Kozhikode will also call, but a K call is hard to convert for a non-engg, non-CA, (basically non-professional degree holder).

There's just finishing the syllabus quickly. I'm not able to strategise. My score in mocks are in single digits. I'm very anxious and hopeless. Could you plz help me form a strategy? Can you make video on DILR too? I am having hard time staying motivated. As an average student i feel that every day is first day of CAT prep I am losing hope..
I will. Please hang in there. The CAT is an emotionally draining exam, but the end will be worth it if you put the right efforts. I will make a DILR video too!
Watch Tv shows/films in English - easiest and most fun way of getting proficient in any language. And speak in English whenever you can. You'll make mistakes, but as you go along, you'll gain confidence. For grammar, read the Know your English section in the paper - The Hindu
Do online questions. Your coaching classes should have topic wise online tests, do those. Don't waste your time reading from paper is what I meant. Wrt content, go slow - to start off, and then build speed. First, comprehend, second get fast...
Hindu editorials are great from the perspective of interview prep. Aeon gives you more diverse topics - archeology, architecture etc which Hindu won’t give you.

Mam, whats your take on aeon essays….i find them unnecessarily lengthy and not mimicking the CAT wale passages as the former is 3000 words long
I do think Aeon is good to improve the comprehension part of the RC. It is lengthy, but it gets you into the groove of reading difficult texts.
