Your channel came up in my feed. I enjoyed the tour and chuckled at several things BUT…don’t ever apologize or justify for what is in your home decor. I grew up in a family of 9 children and our step grandfather moved in when our maternal grandmother passed away. My mother cooked every meal from scratch and trust me we ate ALOT of wild game. Our household required it to survive because my father worked at a grain elevator and did drywalling on the side, money was tight so hunting, fishing and preserving garden truck was a way of life for us. Things keep going as they are right now and more folks are gonna be hunting, fishing and preserving just to survive. I love all forms of wildlife in decor and your mounts are very tastefully displayed. Looking forward to future visits as you share a bit of your life!!!:):):)
Thank you 🙏🏻 I’ve been sharing my decor almost 20 years. When it’s in country and farmhouse places I don’t have a bit of problems. But when the “for you page” kicks in sometimes I get random viewers that just comment to be nasty or rude. I grew up on a 3000 acre grain farm. Raised cattle and horses. Small Indiana town of under 500 residents. We didn’t hunt, but our freezer was full of farm raised beef and canned garden vegetables.

I love how you decorate!!! I’m a navy and cobalt blue girl but I too have started changing to browns for the basics.

I love the look of your home. An open floor plan is sometimes hard to style ,yours is gorgeous. We have 3 deer heads in the living dining room and 2 in our sunroom and my husband and grandson took them and we did use the meat. We have a family of hunters so it sure doesn't bother me.
