- Learn 10 useful English idioms from my conversation with a native speaker in Los Angeles. I met John, who lives on a boat in Marina del Rey. He talks about his life and I teach the idiomatic expressions that he and I used during our conversation.
I am not a native speaker. In my communications training, I realized that I am an advanced speaker. At some point, the English language has grown on me. Your videos have become part of my routine for continuous learning. Your videos have been so efficient. I can now communicate with my team with ease as Operations Manager. Thank you so much for sharing educational videos. You are one Angel on this earth. A medium for nurturing someone like me. Someone who needs to get a message across.

These idioms are so common I wasn’t aware of them until you pointed them out. Even listening to the conversation I couldn’t pick out the idioms. So interesting.

I have one suggestion for you teacher Lisa, this suggestion is you author a book on American real life idiomatic expressions. It will be a great book for foreigners in the same way your mastering the American accent book is great. We, foreigners, find it hard to know whether the expression is used in the USA or in England, or whether its used in real life or not used. I hope you really help us with the book. We will buy it.
