The baby pandas are SO cute. Can’t believe we could get so close to them🥹

Who doesn't love Baby Panda? I normally hate long lines, but in this case so worth it! ❤❤😂
@@linus631 right?! To be honest when you go here you mentally prepare yourself for the lines before you go, but it’s so worth it when you get inside !
security叔叔said 说法太可爱了哈哈哈
In addition to the home of pandas, Chengdu is also home to the heroes of Three Kingdoms like Zhuge Liang(诸葛亮): historical figures mythologized by the Romance of Three Kingdoms.
BTW, your translation software is kinda hilarious: e.g., 26 degree temperature got translated into “26 years old college degree” in Chinese .
@@RichardZhu-qv4np wow so interesting, is it from a novel?
Oh no🤣 I will have to speak to my translating manager(Michelle) hahaha
@@RichardZhu-qv4np thank you for letting me know!
“三国演义” or Romance of Three Kingdom was written during the 15th century based on historical characters like Liu Bei (刘备)Zhuge Liang(诸葛亮)who lived during the 3rd century. Chengdu was their home base during the 3rd century and there are monuments to both all across chengdu and Sichuan. Check them out while you’re there.
@@TravelWithSoph A little bit more context about the novel. One can draw parallel between "Romance of the Three Kingdom" and "King Arthur" with Liu Bei and his Five Tiger Generals being comparable to King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. One of his Tiger General, Guan Yu (i.e., Chinese Lancelot) is still being worshipped as god of Virtue in the Chinese Community even today. Unlike Lancelot who messed with Guinevere, Guan Yu honorably escorted two of Liu Bei's wives from captivity back to Liu Bei. Zhuge Liang, the Chinese Merlin, somehow managed to summon wind from the east at his Wind Altar and used the eastern wind as accelerant to burn down Cao Cao's invading army of 800,000 (i.e., Chinese parallel to the Saxon invaders). Much like Camelot, Liu Bei's kingdom of Shu based at Chengdu eventually fell to Cao Cao's descendant in 260 C.E.
