In this special first look at the series premiere, Norris creates a beachy vintage-inspired outfit, while Mimi makes the most of border-print panels for a fitted dress with lovely neckline detail. Nothing says summer like stretch cotton florals!

This is awesome! I'm glad to have received the recommendation of this video. Sewing and design is one of my passions. I also love the vibe,that sewing can be/is fun. My mom started teaching me a little about sew (hem,base,and repair all by hand)at 7yrs,later she taught me how to sew professionally(her gift) at the age of
15 yrs,and started teaching me how to read and use patterns in my 20s. My first design was at 15,she sewed it and I still have it today. I taught my children the basics also at 7yrs,the girls can now sew for themselves and family,my son can hand repair. This can be a lifesaving craft for everyone, especially when traveling,it will save some $$$$.😉

Wow! As others have said this was fun! I learned to sew in Home Ec in high school and fell in love with it. Gorgeous, simple outfits sewn in this vid. Just discovered Mimi G today at Pinterest and from there to her website and then here to YT. Even watched a vid of their lovely, colorful wedding! This was so inspiring!

Their finished Makes were just incredible!! What a beautiful and talented couple they are! I would love to see more of their process in the actual sewing. Oh, I saw a beautiful border fabric a while ago and didn’t buy it...I just couldn’t picture, what to do with it. Circle skirts aren’t my thing and I never imagined, it could be so cleverly integrated in a design 👍

Wow i just discovered this show..IM IN 💘 LOVE WITH IT!! I allways wanted to become a fashion desinger..I would sketch wedding dress designs on any and every sheet of paper i could find.I new my mother was aware of my lil hobby, but she would never buy me a sketch pad. 😢
