I use an oil I mixed up for my edges and massage it in almost every night (castor, olive, almond, peppermint, rosemary). However one thing I have to be mindful of is making sure when I wear my bonnet or scarf, that it’s not sitting right on top of my hair line. I have to bring it forward in front of my hair line. Even though it’s still satin or a gentle fabric, it’s still enough to cause thinning if I’m not careful of the placement. So those 2 things have helped my edges grow in quite a bit the last few months.
For my edges I use my derma stamp and my homemade growth oil . I use it everyday. I’m not gonna lie it is working yes, it a bit slow but only because my edges was really bad and was said to be dead . But patience is a virtue. And that scalp massager is golden with it as well
Thank you for routines that don't require too many steps. The basics of using oils to protect your hair is fundamental and truly saves your hair. Aloe Vera gel is also very good for nourishing the hair.
Rooted treasures is a great castor pull ladies but it can build up so be mindful and btw I can sit on my hair now and I have very similar hair to Ms. Shawn ya🥰
Loved this! Im in my late 40s so thin edges are no surprise for me but I started using onion juice a couple of years ago and it works! I currently have a roller set style but once I go back to my natural curls I'm going to start incorporating this technique into my routine. Thanks❤✌️
1) when applying my hot oil treatment to my hair, i make sure n apply it to my edges n massage it in. Also when deep conditioning i make sure to apply deep conditioner to my edges to help it grow. 2) i do low tension hairstyles like mini twist. 3) actually this should have been first, but anyway i shampoo my edges properly along with the rest of my hair twice.
I use your oil with rosemary oil on my hair from Wednesday to Sunday every night and I have notice my hair line is extremely thick and filling in.
Wow! I love this 😍 so glad you're getting results!

Thanks for sharing! I just recently learned about the derma stamp but I'm not 100% familiar
What is derma stamping?
@@Goldengirl88 Derma stamping is a skin rejuvenation treatment that uses a handheld device with fine needles to create micro-injuries in the skin.
