Fiver is the way to go, I have quite a few logos done via that outlet now $5 is common but I’ve purchased a few for $25 to high as $45 and it was well worth it. Thumbs up to this guy for spreading the word

Banks don't write loans for start up music ventures without a win-win deal for the bank...but the fact he mentioned this tells me he's not really familiar with financing in music. Overall information is not helpful as money drives the music machine. What's a hit song? A crap ton of money!

I have a concern, I was told if one starts a record company, they would have to be able to register to all PROs (Sesac, ASCAP, BMI) in order to receive the signee's/artist's money to fund them / recoup set percentage? Is this true and how would one go about that due to having multiple artist on different PROs?

Can thy sue me if my name of my label is the same as there company? if there a production company can i be a music group with the same name?
If they do not have the Trademark, you can register it. As far as the production company name, they may come after you because it is the same industry.

You sign them to a Nonexclusive contract, Distribution through Routenote is free so that can be taken care of write there, money split 50/50. Just my thoughts.
I don't mean to go against the grain of your video here but the way I am planning on releasing my Net-label will be with a Creative Commons License, we won't make any money but we'll release music to share with people in the hopes that a song is the stepping stone that helps lead a soul to Christ. We must be Kingdom minded. I'm not even sure at this point if I will have artists. I would like to though. With this infrastructure, there will be no need to file with my state as no money will be coming in or going out. :) It will all be done free and artists if we have any will give their music for free. As to logos, you can make one for free by using a Bible verse and selfy next to the verse. No , registering your records label gives your rights and protects your products but Royalty Companies like ASAP and BMI act like an interface between you and consumers by ensuring that you recieve royalties as your music is sold and as people purchase licenses.

Buy another 100 and sell to anyone who will listen for 1$ and a like on social media. 200 cds for $100 made you $500 profit easy and gain hopefully 100 likes. Buy 100 cds again shoot a quick promo video and buy some ads promote the single. Invite every follower to the video and show them for 2 seconds they will share the video. Sell 100 cds buy $100 worth of ads. don’t spend profits on anything other than getting on. Buy 10 screen print t shirts with your logo on it for $100 and stop wearing brand shirts. Good or bad music every rapper can atleast do this.

If you're an artist and need design work, DON'T go to Fiverr. Save up your money and hire a legit Designer to make your cover art.
