I saw Pete play with Chris Cornell in Melbourne Australia, must have been about 2007. GREAT show!!! They played Soundgarden, Cornell solo stuff, temple of the dog, Audio Slave. Man. GREAT show. Seriously. One of the best ever. This amp right here and your playing sound AWESOME Pete.

Can I add, that while the XLR DI's cab sim is definitely convenient in a pinch?
The option to completely defeat it IMO is what really makes this product shine!
(Squints in judgment at the Orange Super Crush 100)
    Ha!
Laney once had a fantastically ingenious FET based push/pull asymmetrical soft clipping preamp circuit design within their now discontinued Hardcore Max line of cheap practice amps!
I'm wondering if they've perhaps continued that unique design within these Ironheart products?
    Top tier quality demo Pete!
    Cheers!

It’s really interesting I’ve been using one of these on my main rig for a few months now. At $300.00 USD it unbelievable!!! I think 9 out of 10 guys in a blindfold test would not pick this out 3 or 4 at amps at twice the price. I am pretty sure it is made at the Laney factory in the UK. They do not make anything in Asia.
You can send the Cab sim out to a board to a sound guy or use it to record. The ir on it is from the same year cab and model Tony Iommi used on the first few Sabbath albums.. It has Celestion v30's in it. It may give you less choices than other units but it doesn't need them. Better still you don't pay for what you don't need.
