A fine cover of this timeless classic. The strong lead vocal conveys the emotion of the lyrics with a great depth of feeling. The backing singers are very much in tune with one another, and they deliver real tight harmonies. Thanks for posting!
An often overlooked Dylan masterpiece. I an not always happy when his more personal songs are covered, thinking they belong to him alone, but this has to be an exception. Did not think it could be done by anyone else, but this has proved me wrong.
This is by far the best version of this song I’ve heard or seen. Lead vocals are reminiscent of Dylan without being a straight out copy, background vocals haunting and powerful, instrumentation and tone absolutely perfect. I’d like to see this group do another selection from Street Legal: Where are you Tonight
John, that is a brilliant rendition of the song and as Eric - Scott Bloom says below it must be a great feeling to perform that amazing song with such feeling and finesse. I thought the use of the backing singers to cover the sax part was great. I love your version of Precious Angel too...the vocals not quite as good as on this song but still a great cover.

Great female backing vocals. The fella can sing OK but he sounds nothing like Dylan he would struggle as a Dylan impersonater. Enjoyable to listen to though
Wish more people knew this song. It warms my heart when I see people on TH-cam giving it some love.
It's one of my favourite Bob Dylan songs.
Those ladies are in harmony tight .. they practice .. you can tell.
INTEGRAL!
It must be an intense get-off to do such a genuine version of this song, accompanied by an authentic band of committed players!!!! Respect!~E

Belle reprise. Merci. Bob Dylan est une légende.
Unique view, and a very good cover. Like the women singers especially. It was a nice touch by Dylan to use singers on the original.

Really amazing. Enjoyed it thoroughly.
Can the sax part be played with harmonica in a solo cover of the song?
I imagine it can. Never tried it though! We have got a Sax player with us for most of our gigs these days!
Is the singer Bryan Cranston?
