Oh Donna you made me chuckle again with your "bunch of animals wandering". Love these black and white tutorials and the necklace is gorgeous. Thank you again for your precious time, certainly appreciated. Have a wonderful day Donna. Hugs from Australia.
Hi Mandy! The animals let me live here, you know. It's theirs, it's all theirs! Hugs to you in Oz!
Perfection Donna.. I love your b+W canes. I’m so happy that you put up your channel and it’s helped you get back to claying 🙏🏽💕
Definitely! I'm loving my studio and loving clay! Hugs, D
Fabulous tutorial Donna! Love the black and white, and can see lots of possibilities as well to change it up. (Like a rainbow skinner blend where the white is, or varying different metallic colors, etc). Thank you for sharing and explaining the process so wonderfully.
You've got it Misty Cherie! The wheels are turning and that's when it gets really interesting! Cheers, D
Your instructions are so easy to understand and down to earth! Thank you
My pleasure, Sue! Cheers, D
Very nice cane.
Donna, I just love your voice & your way of speaking. So nice to listen to you talk. I also enjoy your humming & singing while you're working. Last but not least, the enthusiasm I hear in your voice for something that you've done for over 30 years...is so incredible & inspiring...it shows how much you enjoy what you do ❤️
Thank you so much, Melly! I feel so lucky to have found polymer clay, very lucky. It grabbed me and it just never let go, kid. Cheers, D
Thank you Mrs Donna for sharing the How to do this cane. Beautiful! 😍
You are so welcome, Annita! It's a good one to have - very useful and interesting, I think! Hugs, D
Hi Mrs Donna, it's indeed a very interesting cane! Myself I'm not good in canes, I have difficulty understanding the construction of a pattern being a cane. Before starting watching the 'How' of this cane, I tried to work it in my mind, how it could possibly be constructed! 😊 Needless to say, I figured it in a completely different way, making my life very difficult! 😂 It was at the end such an easy and simple construction, and yet so beautiful, giving me inspiration to create other patterns, keeping the striped cut design as the main focus of the final project ❤️
This is beautiful, but I know me. When I tried white on black for the Sutton slice technique, I looked at the earrings and thought, “I’ll never wear those!” So I used pastels to shade the white and love the result.
So as I watch, I’m deciding whether to try this with pastel shaded white, or to just go for vibrant colors. Or maybe shades of one or two colors. With your solid techniques, there are so many possibilities! Thank you!
You're so welcome! I think you'll make something splendid! Hugs, D
That is an amazing thing you just did. As an absolute beginner, I am totally impressed!
You can do it, I know you can. Just take your time and know that you'll have something special at the end!
@@DonnaKatoArt thank you so much for the encouragement!
I really love the black and white series.
Thank you, Kristi! 😊❤️
Good morning, Donna. I'm in love with the black and white theme.
Thank you so much for sharing. ❤
You're so welcome! Black and white are my faves, too, actually. Well, they're what I wear! Hugs, D
Love this one, thanks Donna. Please don’t stop singing and chatting if makes me smile and I love it, we all do it and it’s what makes us who we are. Don’t change for anyone 😊😊😊
Hi Paula! I can't stop myself! LOL. Take care, kid. Cheers, D
amazing thankyou Donna for sharing take care 😍
You are so welcome, Maggie! The jellyroll is basic but it need not be boring, I think! Cheers!
Thank you so much for your time 🌈
You are so welcome! Cheers, D
You're a delightful teacher! I really like the way this cane looks. I prefer the shorter videos, but your projects are so interesting that I'll watch the longer videos. I never realized how many different techniques are used with polymer clay.
Thank you so much! Polymer clay is so diverse, it does so much! I love it! Hugs, D
First! :) And I just joined as a member. I had to pay all my bills on the first and budget this month, so it's just the $3 level for now, but when I can i'll increase it. Your tutorials are by far some of the most helpful. I also just recently learned about the Kato Blackout clay. I can't wait to get my hands on it! I end up with a lot of excess gray clay and I want to turn it all black, because I use so much. Thanks for all you do! :)
I promise u will NOT be disappointed with the blackout Clay! It is AMAZING!! It ONLY takes a small amount it’s worth every penny & more!
just in case anyone is on the fence about purchasing the blackout Clay. U will save so much money that u would’ve spent purchasing black clay & the waste from ur scraps that u may or may not use…it actually will save u money!
At least that’s been my experience using the blackout Clay! & it’s so satisfying turning those muddy scraps into the tone of black u want!
FYI I am NOT a paid affiliate I just ♥️ this product &&&
Mrs Donna Kato ❣️
@@sun-risen8686 Thank you for the response! I'm looking forward to getting it. When I think about the scraps I threw away because they were gray it makes me sick! lol
Hi David, okay, I want you to know how glad I am that you're here. I don't want you to feel any pressure to do anything different, okay? Thank you, my friend. Cheers, D PS. you will LOVE Blackout clay!
@@davidsmock8235 it’s definitely a game changer!
@@DonnaKatoArt Just wanted to update you! I got the Blackout clay! I LOVE it! I also got the conditioning bar. These are both amazing products. I took a light-medium gray scrap that also had splotches and bits of other color with it and the Blackout clay. It worked wonders. It's pitch-black. I appreciate this product and you so much. This will be a money-saver for me. I'll still support Kato and buy black sometimes, but I won't need to as often now with this. It's a game-changer! Thank you for your kind words, wonderful videos and amazing products!
Btw: I love the conditioning bar too! Works perfectly.
Thank you for sharing this with us its very helpfull 👏
You are so welcome! Hugs, D
This looks like a nightmare before Christmas or beetle juice theme/vibe and I love it.
Malika, I love that! Hugs, D
Fabulous!
comme d'habitude.....sublime
😊❤️
you are very clever Donna ! Where could I find the explanation of how to make this bead you show at the begining with a snale (or spiral) appearance ? (White coated with black).
Hello, it's part of a class. It's a very simple cane, maybe I'll make it and put it on the open channel. Gotta ask my peeps! Cheers, D
