@@accentontheoff I like it for the ability of drawing vectors right directly with the pencil. Check out the illustrator app on iPad too. I feel like having pen input is much better than the anchor tool but you may end up relying on it.
That's all good you say bro but how I do image trace, that's converting a bitmap colors directly into a vector colors so that I could use an image by converting it into vector
Mind if I ask a question? How critical is the built in memory on the iPad? I.e. when creating a lot of work and building a wedge of files with resultant file sizes, is it practical to work to iCloud or similar cloud services? Or is it best to have more in built storage because that’s more workable day to day? I’d expect to always have some sort of internet connection. Basically, I can probably afford the 12” with less memory or the 11”W other more, don’t know which way to go...
I've found this and basically every vector app for the iPad really frustrating without keyboard shortcuts and having the panels that I use frequently always open instead of hidden. I have no idea how people create such awesome artwork on it. I'm too use to the Adobe Illustrator workspace and using a wacom tablet.
@@TheChameleon2008 I have the pencil. I've Affinity on the desktop too and I hate it lol. Compared to Adobe Illustrator it just slows me down. I use these products daily for work and I find opening and closing panels all the time is too time consuming. I just don't have the patience for vector apps on a small device. :D
@@TheChameleon2008 I don't have much of an option not to use Adobe as i can get shit done faster. I've tried basically every free/not free alternative to Adobe but nothing is up to their standard for graphic design unfortunately. I love using Procreate for illustration for when it's ok to be raster. :)

If you’re an illustrator and use an iPad, you most likely have already purchased Affinity Designer. So, I think it would be helpful to go over why I would consider switching from that app to this one. Being free isn’t really enough incentive if you’ve already purchased the other app.

You should go how to import fonts and brushes. It is fairly simple but people would love it!

Lol i know i am late but if you havent bought one go for the ipad air 4. Its almost as good as the pro and for less money. Ipad 7 is way too weak imo.

Do you know how to use the ability to pick a color from an imported image?
Simply activate the Eyedropper close to the Fill or the Stroke color and then tap on the color you want to pick on the image ;)
