HI! Here's a tripod tip for you that you might like to try - helps me all the time: Put something with a bit of weight on the far corner of your screen and pull the front edge of the screen towards you. Use that whole open area to solder under. It keeps the circle of the tripod top (mega heat sink) out of the equation. And it's super easy to access. Hope that helps you too. It's great to see you using a bigger torch. Hot and fast wins the day, heat from below below below... Great set of jewelry! Great video, thank you for posting your unique styles!
Have you tried fusing the argentium to argentium and skipping the solder step altogether? These are stunning designs! They look like leopard or cheetah. Keep the videos coming. ❣
Hello, if you remember you gave me some very good advices how to do the earrings.... I made them for my daughter. I used sterling for the circles, so I can recycle a little of my scrab😁. They come out very beautiful tiful and my daughter is very happy with them. Greetings to your little helper🐱. Thank you very much. Greetings from Germany Maren
Hello Maren, I’m so pleased to hear that your earrings turned out really well and that your daughter was pleased with them. It’s a fantastic way to use up scrap silver - and it doesn’t look like scrap which is fabulous. As always thank you so much for your support on my channel x
I’m watching your videos again, because I just love them… genuine person and I have to admit you make me giggle… on one of your videos you started whispering and I was thinking to myself. Why is she whispering then you said I don’t know why I’m whispering. It’s like you read my mind. Lol😂
Thank you Diane. I just sanded them by hand keeping the sanding paper flat. Sanding paper wrapped around a flat block would be even easier. I really appreciate your support of my channel xxxx
Dear Livon, Thank you for sharing your wonderful art. I am a beginner and would like to ask what is the best way to clean the circles from patina. Thank you for your help. Kind regards. Darina
Hi Darin’s. Thank you so much for watching and supporting my channel. To get the patina from the circles you can lay a piece of fine grit sand paper face up on a flat surface and rub the circles over it. As they’re raised up it’s quite easy to catch just the top of the circles. I would then do the same with a polishing cloth to shine them up nicely. I hope that help. Best wishes and thanks again xxxx

Thank you so much for your kind words. I’ve fused Argentium on smaller pieces but on the scale of this set. I should give it a try. Thanks again x
I’m going to have a go at this. 🙂 Thanks for demonstrating the technique.
Thank you so much. I’m really glad that you’re going to give it a go as it’s great fun xx

Beautiful ... Thank you for sharing .
You’re very kind, thank you x
Gorgeous! How do you finish edges - cut or saw around the edges to cut the circles in half up against the edge and then file?
Hi yes I used a saw to cut out the final shape (after soldering on the circles) and the rest was filing, sanding and polishing x
How do you clean the platinol off from circles. Beautiful
