A real mc should he able to freak just about anything with bass and beat, it's mastery of flow, flow is water not a specific ingredient. They are good mcs no doubt about it but at times the were off beat. Mostly dsmoke tho T and Smino flow wise did the best.

It's clear that BET is completely out of touch. This beat did absolutely nothing for these artists. It was simple and uninspired, and they all deserve better. They all do better than this with their own platforms, and it's clear BET had no interest in keeping up.
I agree completely that they should've been blessed with a much better beat than that, but nonetheless I feel like they all showed and proved in their own way respectfully their elitism in their ability to be great without reasonable accommodations so to speak 😅

Each of them are flowing with Talent and their verses were great. Seeing that lineup of artists would make anyone excited to hear the cypher… But the instrumental that was chosen did not fit even a little bit. It’s a great beat, but not a cypher beat… I feel like the tremendous amount of potential this had was sabotaged by the instrumental chosen…
