I love the sound of ladder braced guitars. I learned to play on a ladder braced acoustic from 13 years old and only replaced it this year when I turned 42. They are fantastic in a busy mix. You can notch filter out all the frequencies which conflict with whatever else you've got going on and you still have a great sounding guitar track running underneath. That guitar I learned on... very similar to that Harmony. An Arnold Hoyer from around 1966. like an oversized OM merged with a dreadnought but still only as deep as an OM. I had it hanging up in the livingroom and if anyone stood beside it and talked it rang out with such a strong voice. Not a hum... a full ring.

Awesome demo, guitar, playing! Is the action so high, that it sustains for long? Or just guitar itself or both? Yes, very midrangey guitar, sounds good and loud from the video. One of the best guitar channels on TH-cam! :D.

The action is fine on here since I had it set up, it's just a nice old guitar with a solid top, it's super light, and just rings really nicely. 🙂

When u say the neck length what does it matter? How does it effect playing or the sound?

This has a standard 25.5" scale length, like most Martin guitars, which has slightly more tension than a short scale 24.75" Gibson style scale length. Makes it a little snappier, possibly, and has slightly more tension.
