'put it in the basket'... wonderful reminders to take the time to care for myself.. the Cherry Blossom coffee was wonderful! Can't wait to make that for my daughter.

I used to shell peas as a child too! That was long before frozen vegetables were readily available. I used to love eating the odd one as I took them out of the pods…so fresh and yummy!..🥰
It's good to see you back to your routine, having recovered from your illness. My former neighbors ran an air purifier during and after cooking certain foods and it helped greatly to eliminate the odors.. In the summer, grating candy bars over ice cream is another sort of topping for a different flavor. The mandoline slicer would have cut paper thin zucchini for your omelette, but maybe you didn't think of it. Or, possibly like me, using anything that sharp early in the morning is bit too risky, lol.

Fresh peas 😀 my grandparents grew peas too - that was child labour I didn’t mind - you’re right about the smell of peas right out of their pods 😀 am 64 yrs old this summer and helping in their garden is still a wonderfully vivid memory - ok now I want peas but I’m in bed and should be going to sleep 🤣😂 🇨🇦🙏
