Coach you read my mind! I’ve been toying around with replacing power and counter with dart entirely to cut down on the teaching! Also “wide tackle trap” was a VERY cheap install off of duo last year for us (literally blocked duo and just trapped with tackle)
Hey coach I remember a video you did explaining why your going back to the Wide Zone run scheme just wanted to know can you give us an update on how that’s going for you or how that went? Thanks coach !
Guys unfortunately we went back to Gap schemes after week 3. It pains me to say it but we are just way better at Gap stuff. Sophomore TB had 180 rushing first 3 games with zone schemes, and over 1,000 last 5 games with gap stuff
Thanks for the video it was very helpful to learn about the Dart play. Do you see a lot of Bear or Tite fronts where you are? I only see 1 or 2 teams a year that run a 3-4 so I'm curious how popular it still is. Other coaches who read this comment feel free to respond.
Coach, how would you block up Dart to your 3-5-3?
Guard back on stack backer, center and guard double nose to mike, tackle on end, puller on playside stack, read backside end
Thanks Coach!
Run gt counter vs bear by kicking out DT and hitting the play tighter
Yes you can
You speakin my language coach
Thanks

Awesome!!!!!
Could you do something similar using Duo blocking principles?
Yes, as long as you can read one of them if it is 7/6 in the box.
