Thanks for posting. This has helped me in deciding which remote I should buy for my GoPro Hero7 Black. I’ll be shooting everything from off shore and remote fishing trips to ski/boarding where I think the remote is simply a must have. Need to get one!
Just bought the GoPro 7 for a motorcycle trip out west to Yellowstone National Park first two weeks in Aug 2020, the remote will work out good for me, I mounted the GoPro under my mirror which can be hard to get to the buttons. Your remote connection video to the GoPro 7 helped. Thanks
Good day! Great video. May I ask though, can the remote change the mode from shoot to view? My usual problem is when I record videos underwater, I can't check the videos until I remove the waterproof case.
Tatay ni Gimo i just want to update you that I couldn’t find any way to switch from shoot to view mode with the Telesin remote. I’ll play around with it a bit more, and if I’ll find a way to switch between the modes I’ll let you know..
Telesin is making pretty good products that are more affordable than other brands. Great video! You can skip me if I'm randomly chosen. I live too far and shipping is expensive.

Hi Roma, in the description of this Telesin remote they are stated it can work at a distance of 80m. That sounded for sure as a long shot, but I was expecting to work at least at a distance of 20-30m. If it works over a WiFi connection, maybe there was interference in a populated place. It would be great if you could try to test it in some remote area, where interference would be minimal if present at all. Cheers from Croatia! :)

Emm I can’t tell you exactly because I haven’t been using it too much. But I do know this.. if the GoPro is far away from the remote then problems with the connection starts to appear..

They only connect half the time therefoore, I'm looking for an alternative. This Telesin may be the answer. I see at TM 1:55 it shows your wireless connection is OFF. Doesn't this need to be ON for the remoote to work? Also, I'm wondering if it would handle extreme cold for snowmobiling..... Thanks again for yoour video. 👍😊

(can't see why but timing of this glitch is bad)

I’m not really sure because I haven’t really tested it out. I’d recommend contacting TELESIN and see if they’ll be able to provide you a solid answer..
Could it use the quick start video (i mean just press the record button to star recording and skip the mode button) I like to use this way because it allows to save much battery (recording by clips)

Nice product but the 2m which in reality could be even 1m dive is a huge turn off for me, other then that this remote is a no brainer!
I carry my GoPro attached to my helmet and it’s hard to see if it’s on or off, this remote will solve that issue, thanks for posting
Beyond 8 meters you wont only loose your connection but also your Gopro as well.

maybe its a NO BRAINER for some but for me its a big help. Pressing the buttons on your GoPro will actually shake your footage.
