Yes, bleeding heart tetras are a nice, big dither fish for many South American cichlids. I also really like black skirt tetras, and the South American red eye tetra for that, too.

Great list- thank you for the info on each fish. I need to look into those Four Spot Tetras and see where they will work in my fishroom. They are uniquely pretty. I really liked the Watermelon Tetra. Have never seen that one before.
