I am so sorry for your loss. I do understand the depth of feelings that is involved with loss. I’ve told you before that I lost both my parents last year. So my thoughts and prayers are with you.
I too am a lunar follower. I spend as much time as I can sitting under the moon. It’s also when I do most of my rituals and spellwork. The tree farm that you showed here looks amazing! As a child, my father used to take me to tree farms. He was devoted to taking home live trees for Christmas and then re-planting them for years to come. Your videos are very special to me so thank you for sharing!

Hi, Megan, thank you for your kind words and I know you understand, with your recent losses ❤ Ah, you are also another moon follower 😁 🌕 I love that you have fond memories of trees from your childhood, and that your father used potted trees. Thank you for watching, as always ❤

Man, darkness of light is so gorgeous and one I’ve always wanted but never followed through on. I love the dog, the majors and coloring. Love your tree farm ritual. I don’t have my own home at the moment but hoping to find a chemical free tree farm next year to start that ritual in my next and hopefully forever home. I’m very sorry for your loss. Wishing you a magical new year!

Hi, Una! It's been so nice to hear from you😊 I hope you find a cozy new home that brings you an abundance of peace and joy. I am glad I came back to the Darkness of Light deck, and hoping he might print more in the future. Sending you wishes for magical moments throughout the new year ✨

I'm so sorry for your loss. Darkness of Light, such a great deck. I parted with it because of the limited color palette, but that Queen of Blades is one of my favorite queens ever!

Truly sorry to hear about your loss... my thoughts go out to you 🖤 I remember hearing you talk about getting the fir tree last year, and it just made me realize how quickly time has passed! Love the mod using metallic markers 😊 and those three decks do work incredibly well together, happy for you that you've been able to reconnect and work with them again ✨

Hi, Mooncat! Thank you for your condolences, and your understanding 💙 I agree, I can't believe how quickly the year passed, too 😱 I am pretty happy with the paint modification, otherwise those 3 cards would have been dealbreakers in regards to keeping/ using the deck, I think! Thanks for watching and I am excited to see you posted a new video, so will be checking that out soon 😊❤

I’m so sorry to hear about your loss. That’s such a heavy thing to go through, and I just want to say I see you, hear ya, and truly feel ya. I’m holding space for you and wishing you strength as you navigate this ❤
As for content just YASSS! Winter time is 💯 percent about tea and resin 🥰🤗 the BEST! And PLEASE keep us posted on tealight containers! Would LOVE to have a solution as well (sadly, nothing to contribute) 🙈 thanks for sharing!!

Hi, and thank you for your supportive words... it helps to know we are not alone in these things ❤ I am glad you are enjoying the tea and resin season, too 😊 I will be sure to update on any tealight container developments! I am determined to find a way to reuse them 😅 Thank you so much for watching ✨

Aww I love your tree and the ornaments ❤ I feel validated too! I keep my tree up until March usually. Your full moon ritual sounds perfect. I’ve been burning frankincense resin too lately. I finally found a burner made of soapstone I really love. Darkness of Light is so beautiful. It’s a deck I have a habit of missing out on: whenever I try to buy it, it’s unavailable, but that’s ok… I don’t need ALL the decks 😂 That Ten of Coins! 🥹 I love that! Really enjoyed the pairings too. ❤❤❤

It is so nice to have the extended tree time... love that you keep your through March! You must get a hardy type of tree... our Doug firs would have shed all their needles by then 😆 You've been burning frankincense, too? This season is perfect for it! I hope I get to see your burner...perhaps in a video 😊 ... soapstone is my favorite kind so far. I have a white border copy of DOL if you are interested. Let me know ❤

Haha yes, our tree is the hardy type indeed: it’s artificial. We used to get the real thing, but over the years it proved to be an added stress for us and I grew up with an artificial tree so I like it. Your tradition sounds beautiful and fun though, and from an ethical source, nothing like what we used to go through. Yes I’ve been burning frankincense resin! I had meant to show it in my latest video and I forgot! You have a copy of DOL you don’t want? Oh my gosh, hmm! 🤔 I’d love one! We’ll talk about it ❤

Your tree tradition has inspired me for next year! Thanks for sharing it. I actually passed on my Darkness of Light Tarot because I just could not stand those weird goofy faces on the celestial cards. It made the deck unusable for me. Darn! I wish I had thought about painting over them. What did you use for that? The Herbal Astro deck is one of my favorites. I love the muted color palette, the range of herbs included, and the guidebook.
Love your idea about the door closing and another opening. I’m going to try it!

    • @Calluna.V
      @Calluna.V  7 วันที่ผ่านมา

@@weststartarot-Liz Hi! To paint over the faces, I just used acrylic paint... those small bottles you can find in craft stores. I have two copies of DOL with two different card stocks (linen and other) and painted over both sets of celestial faces and it worked great on both. I actually even scraped it off with my fingernail on my second copy because I am planning on giving it away. So, I discovered it also can come off (with a little elbow grease) if needed!
The Herbal Astrology is such a fantastic deck! I am so glad I discovered I wanted to keep it 😅 I am so glad you found some inspiration from this video ✨

Speaking to the matter of grief work - I wonder if you're familiar with Chelsea Granger's book 'So Many Ways To Draw A Ghost'. She created the Dirt Gems illustrations, and the subtitle of her book is Death, Grief, and Joy/writing, drawings, comics and paintings by Chelsea Granger with contributing writers and artists. I've been considering the value of making a video about it. Let me know if you'd be interested in that, and I'll bump it up on my to-do list. 💚💙💜
