Acts 19:11-12 Miracles at Ephesus “11 God was doing extraordinary and unusual miracles by the hands of Paul, 12 so that even handkerchiefs or face-towels or aprons that had touched his skin were brought to the sick, and their diseases left them and the evil spirits came out [of them].” True we do not put our faith in prayer cloths but I do believe they’re not a hindrance.

One meal or more, etc.; or abstaining from certain foods like Daniel did (in the book of Daniel); some people abstain from social media or tv while they fast. Really, it's between you and God, and you have to work up to greater abstaining. A Daniel fast is a good way to start. If you search for info about a Daniel fast, you will find many resources.

If you are struggling read this~ I know I’m young but I would just like to say that, In 7th grade I was in a very dark place. I couldn’t feel much emotion and I HAD thoughts of revenge and other things. But God saved me, He gave me the people in my life and He showed Himself to me. Even in my darkest days He was there with me, He never left me. One day while I was in bed I started to pray with my hand to the sky and I felt something holding my hand. At that very moment I knew it was Him. I repent of all of the sins I have committed. I am ready to begin a new life with Him. There is still time go repent love one another and believe in Christ for He will forgive you❤️ He helped me in hard times and he will help you too:). Just pray! I will pray for you! So, as a third generation Christian who married a non-practicing Catholic, I recently purchased a rosary with a naive intent to strengthen my prayer life; I believe I also had an intent to signal to him that I was not a 'judgmental' believer, as in our region evangelists are heavily judgmental against Catholics. After a few weeks, the entire time uncomfortable and doubtful of whether it was correct to pray to Mary, I just stopped. Lord God, merciful Father, forgive me for my lack of understanding, and doubt, of Your word which I know to be the truth absolute even when I hold uncertainty; I give again to You my prayer for the strengthening of the faith of my husband, and that he may receive You in his heart with the intimacy of trusting fully in Your word, as I do today. Thank You, Lord, for the truth of your awesome word. In the name of Jesus Christ, my Savior, I pray. Amen.

It’s a meditative prayer that focuses on the 7 mysteries of the life of our Lord Jesus. Praying you give it another shot, and ask God to reveal His truth to you. Hoping this doesn’t come off as judgmental, but I think it may be worth another shot to ask God to show you the truth, and not to believe what Anti-Catholic/Protestant pastor Vlad says. 🙏🏻 ❤ do your own research about what the Catholic Church really teaches. I think you getting the rosary was led by the Holy Spirit. The Ave Maria is based on the salutation of the Angel to Mary and then the words of St Elisabeth to Mary when Mary came to visit her. The words are all taken from the bible. This is the way the Lord wanted the Virgin to be saluted. The Ave Maria is so powerful it brings us back to the beginning of our redemption, the Incarnation. Repetiveness helps us learn something new like little children. I could go on but the Ave Maria is not witchcraft this is the way the Lord wants us to address his holy Mother. She is more powerful than anyone else at interceding, she received all graces, she received GOD.
I also felt the Spirit confirm that I should pray unto God the Eternal Father in the name of Jesus Christ. It has changed my spiritual life. To not pray to men or women, or graven images of them, but to God in the name of Jesus Christ. He is my Savior and his name is all powerful. How I pray is I address "Dear Heavenly Father, I then say what I am grateful for, then I ask him humbly for blessings. Then I say in the name of Jesus the Christ, Amen. Specific prayers get specific answers. And focusing my mind and thoughts on the Savior Jesus Christ adds power and peace.

Yes, I used Hallow to learn the prayers (I would begin with the Apostle's Creed, and meditated wirh The Hail Mary, reciting The Glory Be and The Fatima Prayer in between the decades). I don't think I can overcome my discomfort praying The Hail Mary, but I am willing to try again giving this discomfort up to Him for revelation, as there were indeed benefits I received to that daily morning practice. Fasting is what strengthens your prayer not physical objects. I have always prayed silently alone cried alone begging him to save me in quiet desperation. I just talk to jesus all day long. Why would I need an object? He gave us our minds I lift my hands up high when I worship God singing to him my holy spirit really comes alive.

God has shown me that the best prayer for my enemies is that they would prosper AS THEIR SOULS prosper. If their souls are bent on evil, they will not ultimately prosper, but if they come to true repentance, they will. This kind of prayer gives them room for repentance, whereas without this kind of prayer that route may not be as obvious to them.
Lord hear my prayers. As a single mother. I’m still struggling financially trying to provide the basics for my two sons. Both are are special needs. Every month is a struggle not to end up on the streets. Father give me strength, because I’m so tired of struggling. I’m ready to give up but with your help Father God I can move mountains. Never give up! I struggled as a single mother with two daughters in multiple recessions. We ate a lot of cereal, mac and cheese, and peanut butter but God always was and still is faithful even when we were not. Grow your faith! Trust and believe.

My grandmother used to always say "Be grateful for what you have and be glad you have it. Years later, as an adult, Through God's help and guidance, I came to understand that I have what I have because God saw fit to provide it to me. These things as well as everything belongs to god. So now I have added this to what my grandmother would have said. So when I do ask for something from God, I try not to ask for trivial things. It goes back to one's motivation for their prayer which God already knows Because that is a matter of a person's heart. And that you cannot hide from God.

Humans are insatiable n will always have needs n wants, always searching for the next level. Manifestation is the work of Faith. The “Give me what’s mine” heart attitude is different than asking for something, like the child asking for a fish- a completely different heart attitude- and it is not selfish in nature like the prodigal son in the beginning of the story.

Peace be with you and David too. I stumbled across you guys when I was going through a divorce of ah 17 year marriage and I know the devil was behind it so I give God all Glory and I exalt His name. I did not pass up my cup, but getting back to the point. I have just got off work and I wanna hear The Word every night and the first thing that came up is your conversation about how we should and how we shouldn’t Pray. I wanna tell you if God does not get Glory out of it then don’t do it just that simple, but as for repetition, the only Prayer that I Pray in repetition is The Lord‘s Prayer. Jesus Himself said to go to your closet and to Pray these Words, and I first ask The Holy Spirit to lead me in my Prayer and I continue praying until I pass out and go to sleep because the way it comes to me is that it sends reverbs like shockwaves where ever darkness is. Glory be to The Lord God . Ask, Knock, Seek. Amen
Yes the book of Psalms i read it out loud many times when in spiritual battles. But we war not against flesh and blood but Principalities, powers, and rulers of darkness in the 2nd heaven, the devil, his angels and demons.

Amen! I was saved by Jesus from witchcraft and idolatry. I used to pray to almost anything for health,protection,money,love etc but when i came to Jesus i repented from all and i ask God to change me and used and if there was a possibility to help me undo all my idolatry prayers and guessssss what today i am reading my bible and all the things that i once prayed for to idols God is having me pray them again but to him. I've done some of these prayers and I would say that when things didn't go my way I got mad at God at Jesus, the one who gave me these things now they aren't all bad but they can become bad things. I will clarify everything that is bad is of this world but has a form in heaven so it comes all down not to mental perception, or perspective but more spiritual, and not hiding or twisting the wrongs but simply asking that they may be fixed back to how God, had entended them. I know that we can all struggle with praying something maybe we didn't even know that was wrong, and I'm just glad Jesus is a forgiving, merciful, gracias God. I would say I have been a Christian for a while now and had learned about a lot and since, I was a child I was always brought up to know right from wrong, but sadly that won't cover my relationship with God. Something God opened up to me was that I do not need to worry or overthink anything because they will become a obsession. I used to do this in all aspects of my life without knowing it and it went right back to what you said about praying with manipulative intentions, and using repetitive formulaic prayers, seeking signs instead of trusting God's word and probably the one I still struggle with and have been working on would be praying for everything I want like material weath or even spiritual weath, but putting all the things God gives me even the Joy, peace, love, inthusiaam, skills, even wisdom from God, Knowledge, intelligence, possibly wanting a longer life before God now all of these things are good but using good for bad doesn't make you truly feel fulfilled or grateful. Now Jesus has given me a lot and I don't think it's bad to try to even pray new things to God, I just think that we should give everything he has given us weather that be even skills you have developed from God or things God gave you because you were faithful, greatful and thankful. Now don't get me wrong we are all imperfect and are sinners but if you even obsess as I have over trying to be your best self or be more smart for me now a lot of the times it's because I'm trying so hard to not sin or pray the wrong prayer that I do because that has become my obsession. What Jesus has done for me over the end of this summer is shown me what I've done wrong because I didn't even know it and I knew I had struggled with putting things before God, in the past but the thought of trying to be perfect even though I'll never be until that day drove me insane basically trying to master the game of life. But Jesus told me that these things in the world in my mind, that I think makes me happy only tears me apart in the inside. And Jesus healed me and showed me that I need to give it all back to him not keep it because even all the wait from the things that God has emplanted into your mind or given you can't be held by our human bodies. He gave me a new desire for him even though I desired him before I let my desire for the kingdom of God, become to overbearing and thought I could take it all but in the true reality I needed Jesus's help I can't obsess and go to these other things that god gave existence to so I give it back to him. You know that song that goes like this, I'm taking all back what the enemy stole, and the thing is that we need to do that but we can only hold on to our own things in our minds and hearts for so long sooner or later we need to have God empty all of the things out of us to make room for him and it makes us feel less stressful to be honest. Anyways I think you were trying to explain that in this message anyway, I just thought of sharing what God opened the eyes of my heart to and that it is to stop holding on to worldly and spirituall things so that Jesus can revive me and help me to be what I try to preach instead of obsessing over myself. Good video and job on the video I think we all need more message videos and videos spreading the truth and teaching detail in them because the world is a crazy place and TH-cam / all social media, is to deluded with good and bad and it is manipulative I know because I study the psychology behind it. Keep informing people on the truth as well as I feel lead by the Lord to do something that involves entertainment, and industry type things because I know God wants me to do something big in the world, and not hide or cover up the truth like I have in the past as well as so many other creators even friends of mine. This channel is just my gaming/ fun channel so if you read this whole comment and think hey I wonder more about this kid and research me a lot of the stuff you will find involves my past. The community I am in is probably one of the most hateful/ toxic community's online or in the gaming industry. Now it's not the worst I think somewhere in the top ten or fifteen though. So I know from that alone that God might want to use me in this area but I'll leave it up to him and be patient because the last time I didn't it didn't make me end up that great, it brought success that withered fast and left me sad mad and unfortunately unfulfilled. I am probably not going to use these accounts I have one that I will put God first the whole time from the beginning with no end for now I'm thankful that God gives us time and he is patient slow to anger and is a graceful God, and I need to find time everyday to give it all to him because without the holy Spirit I can't even get out of bed on my own let alone get out of my house and take a walk. I am going to stop babbling now because I need to go to sleep it's getting kinda late in my time zone cya!
The other day it started sprinkling as I stood looking out of my kitchen window and I prayed to God for a thunder storm after I thanked him for being in my life and not more than 20 seconds later the big pine tree out front of my window got hit by lightning. I was so excited and felt like God gave me a hug. I didn’t mean it for a sign I just love thunder n lightning and it had been so hot lately.

Thank you. I've been praying wrong. I usually ask Him to forgive me first and then i sometimes ask forgiveness for others. Then i ask Him to bless the unsaved, and next the soul winners... then all Christians.. then i go on to the people in my life who have certain needs. I was thinking the order of the people's needs mattered.....the worst thing i did a few weeks ago... i asked God to bring down my enemies. Just days later my mom and cat were both having health emergencies. Mom was in hospital for almost a week and my cat has a heart murmur. I won't ever ask God to punish anyone. I'm truly sorry i did this. Please, God forgive me? test your desires through the delight of God, my desires cannot be trusted.
What I noticed in my walk with God is that I don't have to pray for the bad things to happen to my enemy, because He is my protector. What I usually pray for is that I ask God to deal with them, because it is so hard for me and that they hurt me and I don't know what to do. He had removed those people in my life. Many lost their job and have to move and some list their lives. I didn't want them to die, or ask God to punish them, all I did was to ask God to deal with them for me. So He decided what He wanted. So be careful for what you ask, because you might not want what God had decided. Walk righteously before God and He will remove people in your life that can harm you.

Today was a day full of gossip and slander again. I started allowing my flesh to experience anger unintentionally and used a curse word against someone, and now feel like blessing them and repenting, even if that means there is future slander and gossip! Amen, and thank you again, Jesus, Lord of Hosts, for forgiving my sins of callous cursing for today.

So, as a third generation Christian who married a non-practicing Catholic, I recently purchased a rosary with a naive intent to strengthen my prayer life; I believe I also had an intent to signal to him that I was not a 'judgmental' believer, as in our region evangelists are heavily judgmental against Catholics. After a few weeks, the entire time uncomfortable and doubtful of whether it was correct to pray to Mary, I just stopped.

It’s a meditative prayer that focuses on the 7 mysteries of the life of our Lord Jesus. Praying you give it another shot, and ask God to reveal His truth to you. I think you getting the rosary was led by the Holy Spirit. The Ave Maria is based on the salutation of the Angel to Mary and then the words of St Elisabeth to Mary when Mary came to visit her. The words are all taken from the bible. This is the way the Lord wanted the Virgin to be saluted.
The Ave Maria is so powerful it brings us back to the beginning of our redemption, the Incarnation. Repetiveness helps us learn something new like little children. I could go on but the Ave Maria is not witchcraft this is the way the Lord wants us to address his holy Mother. She is more powerful than anyone else at interceding, she received all graces, she received GOD.
I also felt the Spirit confirm that I should pray unto God the Eternal Father in the name of Jesus Christ. It has changed my spiritual life. To not pray to men or women, or graven images of them, but to God in the name of Jesus Christ. He is my Savior and his name is all powerful. How I pray is I address "Dear Heavenly Father, I then say what I am grateful for, then I ask him humbly for blessings. Then I say in the name of Jesus the Christ, Amen. Specific prayers get specific answers. And focusing my mind and thoughts on the Savior Jesus Christ adds power and peace.

Yes, I used Hallow to learn the prayers (I would begin with the Apostle's Creed, and meditated wirh The Hail Mary, reciting The Glory Be and The Fatima Prayer in between the decades). I don't think I can overcome my discomfort praying The Hail Mary, but I am willing to try again giving this discomfort up to Him for revelation, as there were indeed benefits I received to that daily morning practice. My grandmother used to always say "Be grateful for what you have and be glad you have it. Peace be with you and David too. I stumbled across you guys when I was going through a divorce of ah 17 year marriage and I know the devil was behind it so I give God all Glory and I exalt His name. I did not pass up my cup, but getting back to the point. I have just got off work and I wanna hear The Word every night and the first thing that came up is your conversation about how we should and how we shouldn’t Pray. I wanna tell you if God does not get Glory out of it then don’t do it just that simple, but as for repetition, the only Prayer that I Pray in repetition is The Lord‘s Prayer. I used to pray to almost anything for health,protection,money,love etc but when i came to Jesus i repented from all and i ask God to change me and used and if there was a possibility to help me undo all my idolatry prayers and guessssss what today i am reading my bible and all the things that i once prayed for to idols God is having me pray them again but to him. It's like my story is being rewritten and this time with Jesus in the center. 🙌🙌🙌 Bless the Most High, all glory and praise to him who sits in the throne.

I've done some of these prayers and I would say that when things didn't go my way I got mad at God at Jesus, the one who gave me these things now they aren't all bad but they can become bad things. I will clarify everything that is bad is of this world but has a form in heaven so it comes all down not to mental perception, or perspective but more spiritual, and not hiding or twisting the wrongs but simply asking that they may be fixed back to how God, had entended them. I know that we can all struggle with praying something maybe we didn't even know that was wrong, and I'm just glad Jesus is a forgiving, merciful, gracias God. I would say I have been a Christian for a while now and had learned about a lot and since, I was a child I was always brought up to know right from wrong, but sadly that won't cover my relationship with God. Something God opened up to me was that I do not need to worry or overthink anything because they will become a obsession. I used to do this in all aspects of my life without knowing it and it went right back to what you said about praying with manipulative intentions, and using repetitive formulaic prayers, seeking signs instead of trusting God's word and probably the one I still struggle with and have been working on would be praying for everything I want like material weath or even spiritual weath, but putting all the things God gives me even the Joy, peace, love, inthusiaam, skills, even wisdom from God, Knowledge, intelligence, possibly wanting a longer life before God now all of these things are good but using good for bad doesn't make you truly feel fulfilled or grateful. Now Jesus has given me a lot and I don't think it's bad to try to even pray new things to God, I just think that we should give everything he has given us weather that be even skills you have developed from God or things God gave you because you were faithful, greatful and thankful. Now don't get me wrong we are all imperfect and are sinners but if you even obsess as I have over trying to be your best self or be more smart for me now a lot of the times it's because I'm trying so hard to not sin or pray the wrong prayer that I do because that has become my obsession. What Jesus has done for me over the end of this summer is shown me what I've done wrong because I didn't even know it and I knew I had struggled with putting things before God, in the past but the thought of trying to be perfect even though I'll never be until that day drove me insane basically trying to master the game of life. But Jesus told me that these things in the world in my mind, that I think makes me happy only tears me apart in the inside. And Jesus healed me and showed me that I need to give it all back to him not keep it because even all the wait from the things that God has emplanted into your mind or given you can't be held by our human bodies. He gave me a new desire for him even though I desired him before I let my desire for the kingdom of God, become to overbearing and thought I could take it all but in the true reality I needed Jesus's help I can't obsess and go to these other things that god gave existence to so I give it back to him. You know that song that goes like this, I'm taking all back what the enemy stole, and the thing is that we need to do that but we can only hold on to our own things in our minds and hearts for so long sooner or later we need to have God empty all of the things out of us to make room for him and it makes us feel less stressful to be honest. Anyways I think you were trying to explain that in this message anyway, I just thought of sharing what God opened the eyes of my heart to and that it is to stop holding on to worldly and spirituall things so that Jesus can revive me and help me to be what I try to preach instead of obsessing over myself. Good video and job on the video I think we all need more message videos and videos spreading the truth and teaching detail in them because the world is a crazy place and TH-cam / all social media, is to deluded with good and bad and it is manipulative I know because I study the psychology behind it. Keep informing people on the truth as well as I feel lead by the Lord to do something that involves entertainment, and industry type things because I know God wants me to do something big in the world, and not hide or cover up the truth like I have in the past as well as so many other creators even friends of mine. This channel is just my gaming/ fun channel so if you read this whole comment and think hey I wonder more about this kid and research me a lot of the stuff you will find involves my past. The community I am in is probably one of the most hateful/ toxic community's online or in the gaming industry. Now it's not the worst I think somewhere in the top ten or fifteen though. So I know from that alone that God might want to use me in this area but I'll leave it up to him and be patient because the last time I didn't it didn't make me end up that great, it brought success that withered fast and left me sad mad and unfortunately unfulfilled. I am probably not going to use these accounts I have one that I will put God first the whole time from the beginning with no end for now I'm thankful that God gives us time and he is patient slow to anger and is a graceful God, and I need to find time everyday to give it all to him because without the holy Spirit I can't even get out of bed on my own let alone get out of my house and take a walk. I am going to stop babbling now because I need to go to sleep it's getting kinda late in my time zone cya!
The other day it started sprinkling as I stood looking out of my kitchen window and I prayed to God for a thunder storm after I thanked him for being in my life and not more than 20 seconds later the big pine tree out front of my window got hit by lightning. I was so excited and felt like God gave me a hug. I didn’t mean it for a sign I just love thunder n lightning and it had been so hot lately.
Fasting is what strengthens your prayer. Not objects.

You do realize the the disciples of Jesus Christ knew how to pray but couldn't cast out a demon. And in Verse 21,Jesus said"This kind goes not out but by prayer and fasting "

Thank you. I've been praying wrong. I usually ask Him to forgive me first and then i sometimes ask forgiveness for others. Then i ask Him to bless the unsaved, and next the soul winners... then all Christians.. then i go on to the people in my life who have certain needs. I was thinking the order of the people's needs mattered.....the worst thing i did a few weeks ago... i asked God to bring down my enemies. Just days later my mom and cat were both having health emergencies. Mom was in hospital for almost a week and my cat has a heart murmur. I won't ever ask God to punish anyone. I'm truly sorry i did this. Please, God forgive me? test your desires through the delight of God, my desires cannot be trusted.
What I noticed in my walk with God is that I don't have to pray for the bad things to happen to my enemy, because He is my protector. What I usually pray for is that I ask God to deal with them, because it is so hard for me and that they hurt me and I don't know what to do. He had removed those people in my life. Many lost their job and have to move and some list their lives. I didn't want them to die, or ask God to punish them, all I did was to ask God to deal with them for me. So He decided what He wanted. So be careful for what you ask, because you might not want what God had decided. Walk righteously before God and He will remove people in your life that can harm you.

Today was a day full of gossip and slander again. I started allowing my flesh to experience anger unintentionally and used a curse word against someone, and now feel like blessing them and repenting, even if that means there is future slander and gossip! Amen, and thank you again, Jesus, Lord of Hosts, for forgiving my sins of callous cursing for today.
