It's just that the game is biased in that a lot of the science questions are worth max 2 points whilst unnecessary super hero or sports questions that no one knows the answer are worth like min 5. The game encourages guessing, considering all the skill based questions are worth less

No One Ever it's a trivia game, a blockbuster superhero question is part of general knowledge. Just because the science questions are not usually worth as many points doesn't mean it's suddenly not skilled based.

it always baffles me how much they don't know about some things.
Mainly the superheroes. I haven't been to a superhero film in ages, and I don't pay any more attention to them than they do, but I swear I learned most of this stuff just growing up. The american and sports stuff it makes sense they wouldnt know, some of it's pretty obscure anyways

It's not important to learn about at all and is literally BS. What's hard to comprehend? The most you'll get out of learning about it is a bit of useless general knowledge.
every question in a quiz is easy to someone. okay, so they didn't get it right because they didn't know greek mythology. but I'd say there's a fair chance you have studied greek mythology in the past whereas they haven't, and there will be a fair few questions about something they do regularly that they know and you probably don't, say recording for example. It's easy for us in the know to be critical, then again maybe you were just trying to give them a little information and be helpful and i've wasted my time lol.
Also, Dylan Taank you need to chill bro. The question itself proves it's not useless knowledge so you don't need to write a thesis to demonstrate it once more.
Dragonitecaptor I hate to point out but the Rosetta stone has helped and still helps us decipher languages and create them today by giving us a greater understanding of the structures of different languages. It also tells us history behind major civilizations (you can debate how trustworthy the source is, but still). Ergo it is extremely useful and has been for some time.
I thought the debate was on whether Greek Mythology had any use at all, even to a non-'average man' xD
I mean, as a kid I loved reading about it so I guess it had a use in entertaining me :) more so than poetry and musicals lol

I'm pretty sure part of the game is deciding whether to purposely get answers wrong in order to land on the shortcuts when the right question with the correct number of spaces comes up.

Vik look for similarities, when it’s multi choice, if two out of the four have the same name it’s one of them, if there numbers the chances it’s the highest or lowest is slim.

On the Roman goddess question, I was thinking Hera too, until I looked at the question again, and knew that it was Juno. Hera is the Greek goddess, and Juno is the Roman goddess. If it was talking about Greek gods and goddesses, then Vik would have been right. The only reason I know this is because I read the Percy Jackson book series, by Rick Riordan (not sponsored).
