Bev, you've created a cracking awesome pop art card! The explosions collection is one of my favourites, especially for guy-themed cards and any occasions that deserve a BIG celebration. Once again, a joy to watch your magic unfold. We don't do Christmas crackers at present but years ago, my family did, most often for New Years. They were fun, but the best part was the look on my dad's face when we told him that everyone had to wear the hats that were included and blow the noisemakers. His expression was a combination of 'Are you kidding me', to head shakes of 'nope, not doing this' to the emerging of a 'smirk' as he joined in the fun, as quickly as he could. Oh, the memories of my dad...thank you for sparking them! Thank you for sharing how versatile these sets are! hugs~carol
Bev, when you bought in the little tub for your adhesive squares backing bits to go in, I thought that's what I should do. Then I laughed out loud when you then just took them off and put them on your work desk - that's more like me 😂 My desk is usually very messy.
Good to hear you sounding better today🥰 I’ve not purchased the Cracking stamp set 😉 as I didn’t see it’s possibilities to the full until I watched you building the card up with the other pop art style stamps.💥 It looks very versatile, as you say, for lots of occasions & genders. Again, not just for Christmas. 👏 Maybe another shaker card waiting to happen!💡 Yonks ago I bought 6 tin Christmas crackers with ends that pull off to fill with our fave sweets - at Xmas these tend to be Lindt chocs. 🥳 We sometimes buy Xmas crackers if I find attractive ones that are on offer🤭 I’ve actually got a drawer full of naff cracker fillers so I should really make my own, one day…. I’m a bit sad as I’ve lost the fortune fish. 🐟Even at my age I love that fish. 🤦🏼♀️ Monty Don isn’t on tonight with Gardeners World, so I’m holding on to watching you, Bev. This a great card. I love the colour combo of both. We don't have crackers because we never have Christmas food as such. For us it's just another day. No turkey , christmas cake , christmas pudding. Bah humbug in our house lol.
