Even though the old BOC family was wonderful...I must say the series we get from BOC with the current/new founded family of actors is still superb. So, it's safe to say we are still getting quality work.
Half of 'old' (1st gen) is still at BoC. Mile, Apo, Tong, Pong, and Ta. Also, Kratae, Senam, and Natasha Yoghurt have joined as currently new for at least one project in 2025.
Build talked trash about the other actors whilst he was at BoC, and his relationship with Poi almost sunk BoC due to the financial repercussions. He also has a years long history of saying/doing sexist and homophobic things. That's why.
It's very normal that contracts are done per project, or in some cases per year, or series seasons. BoC originally did yearly contracts, but have switched to per project for new hires. It's no different from other companies. Other BL actors also frequently switch company.
@@mariwolfie5548 they could have extended their contract or not just that build got in trouble Jeff left everyone went their own way but no one could keep up with the reputation they received from kinnporshche series ...they were getting more and more famous until they separated
@klmnsd6268 It's not just about prolonging contracts. The repercussions of Build and Poi's personal matters caused a huge hit on BoC, both financially but also with projects. I think many forget to consider the multiple changes it caused to BoC. Pond actually had to restructure the company in 2023, and it's not until around now that the company is back on its feet. KinnPorsche S2 didn't happen, meaning a massive loss of income, but also sponsors and investors cancelled cooperation. BoC, with KP S2 cancelled, stood with 15 KP actors, where 75% of them no longer had an immediate upcoming project, and they were all 3-6 months into their (back then) current yearly contract. Only Mile, Apo, and Bas had been cast for ManSuang at that point. BoC also stood with having to reschedule ManSuang (likely making budget cuts), and they were redoing the script. 4 Minutes had only just been announced, along with The Hidden Character (THC) reality show + the series the new actors would do later that year. Pond/BoC was left scrambling with a dozen 1st gen. actors without a new project, since KP didn't happen + 16 *new* 2nd gen. guys for THC project - but BoC now had no current project outside of THC, and scrambling to manage production of ManSuang, as DFF wouldn't be ready until late 2023. And again, 75% of 1st gen. actors without a project, but still only months into a yearly contract - and KP concerts ending earlier than planned, only 6 weeks later. Jeff, who already wanted to focus more on his music, decided to leave and use the momentum from KP to start his own, after talking with Pond and Mile. Which was the best decision for him. He kept the Contract with Hanyung company for the Wuju Bakery series. So he got released from his BoC contract early. All the remaining 1st gen. guys were incorporated into having some kind of part in THC, giving them something to do. Tong also made the cut for the new ManSuang cast, with Nodt and Pong featured in tiny appearances. Despite barely bring seen in ManSuang, BoC still featured them in the presentation, making them seen (promoting them). Ta made it for a bigger part of THC, later DFF, bc he fit those contest/programme criterias. Barcode fit too, but at that point he had Wuju Bakery, so couldn't participate in DFF, so he only had guest part in THC. It was only when Wuju Bakery release was delayed that he got the time, and Pond offered him a role in DFF. Hence giving BC and Ta a new projects that way. JJ and Us was also worked into the DFF script/roles. In the meantime Ping left BoC to focus on the band he was in, so that's why he left when his contract ran out in summer 2023. Perth got some acting work in Japan, something he had wanted to try, hereby leaving his contact with BoC. He has basically stayed in Japan since then, moved there. He miss the KP guys, but like what he's doing. Barcode left his contract early, because he also wanted to try with doing solo music work, just like Jeff, but also bc BoC didn't have any projects for him for 2024, only having 4 Minutes, and he's too talented to go a year without work. This released him to pursue new options that BoC couldn't give him. Nodt, Us, and JJ had automatically ended their contracts in Aug/Oct. after 2 years under contract, probably since there is no close coming projects for them. Or maybe they themselves decided to end the work with BoC. It is a two-way street, as both sides must want to continue the contract. KinnPorsche is still very popular, but in reality it's been almost 2 years since they filmed it, and one thing is having a contract, another is having work. BoC had done what they could, but there wasn't the work for all of them. KP fame was only a stepping stone. It was up to each of them to build on that themselves, and go their own way too.
@@SundayJames-rj7yg Knee injury he's been dealing with for awhile. In October he was to receive treatment and would require 1-2 months of rest. I think he's slowly starting to do appearances again, but they recently did a live and it looks like he's still healing a bit as it looked like he still had a minor limp and was favoring his injured leg.
Just say you all miss kinnporsche😂
Mile, Apo, and Tong are still apart of BOC. So is Pong and Ta. But yes, miss Jeff, Us, 2J, Nodt, Barcode, and Perth.

No, but they’ve been busy more with modeling, music, sponsorship, plus Mile is recovering from surgery.
