Izuku - Suffered for being quirkless. Katsuki - Suffered for having to much pressure for being a prodigy. Shoto - Suffered from the abuse he had from Endeavor, because of it's quirk being strong. Quirks are destroying people's lifes...but saving them at the same time, it's fucking weird
It suits hem perfectly. I'm probably reading to much into this but this kinda makes me think its from his perspective and the fire he's talking about the other part of his quirck. The fire quick reminds him of his father there for he feels like the fire made him lose the things he loved. Hints "these are the things we lost in the fire"
I was listening to this song on the bus, i was waiting for the chorus to come (my favorite part) and as i sat on the bus i saw a truck speed up next to us and actually crashed into us while we were turning, i was like 5 feet from the main point of impact, the trucks door was right next to my window. It was quite the experience, but at least i got to listen to some nice music as i watched it unfold
I hated Todoroki in the beginning during the sports festival, but when I learned about his backstory I actually felt sorry for him. Now he’s one of my favorite characters next to Deku, I love him ❤️

Shouto has NO obligation to ever forgive his dad. I personaly like where Hoshikori is taking their(=the Todoroki family's) story. I like Enji/Endeavor as a character, however I don't agree with what he has done. But I have a hard time understanding how Shouto forgave his mum so easily? She threw boiling water on his face and it permanently scarred him. From what we've seen she didn't abuse him or hurt him other than that one time. So is that it?
Well, yeah, kind of. She defended Shoto against Enji/Endeavor, and Endeavor physically/mentally abused her as well. That one time she burned him was a result of her snapping and not being able to take all that abuse anymore. Hope this helps!

I guess I just don't understand why she would take it out on Shouto. I would have assumed that abuse from his father would've affected the way Shouto might've viewed his mother throwing the water on him. As in maybe starting to worry that his mum was changing too. Starting to be careful around her too (maybe that's just me) but instead he seems to take her side without any doubs. Blaming his father for the mum throwing the water. It's Endeavor's fault for her snapping but I don't think it's his fault that the mum threw the waster on SHOUTO. Maybe I'm just thinking about this too hard, it's just fictional characters after all ^_^'

For example I didn't realize that she had become mentally unstable, I thought that the snapping was just.. anger and resentment she'd held towards Endeavor and he punished her by sending her to a psychiatric ward or something. This helped a lot, thanks! Also for the trouble of looking up sources :) Tho I still kinda wanna call bs on Shouto's left side reminding her so badly of Endeavor that it affected, what about Toya? In my head I explained the throwing water on Shouto as she got scared by Shouto and the fact that he heard what she'd said.
I thought of the Shoto/Toya thing too, and the most likely explanation is (as Toya is the eldest child) that he had already left the house at that time. (I like to believe that he was on his way to becoming Dabi at this point but it isn't canon)

Todoroki and my OC Shobun would be such good friends because of their problems with family and I just can't get over how amazing this is...
