Learn how to perform HIL simulation for building real-time applications. In this webinar we present an overview of Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulation and testing using Simulink Real-Time and Speedgoat target hardware along with physical modeling tools. We will discuss additional approaches such as MATLAB scripting and APIs that aid automation of HIL simulation. Also, we will cover different aspects of HIL emulation and address how HIL simulators including integration lab setups, are built. With examples of real-world HIL systems this webinar will provide an introduction of HIL simulation and testing across various industries.
During the presentation we will cover the following topics:
An Introduction to hardware-in-the-loop(HIL) simulation and overview of the different parts of a HIL system
    Simulink Real-Time for hardware-in-the-loop simulation and testing(HIL) - A workflow without gaps
Speedgoat - Hardware tailored for Simulink Real-Time
A demonstration of an oil drill HIL-testing - From simulation to hardware-in-the-loop (HIL)

I think the aim of the demo shall be to explain the usage of speedgoat and matlab in an easy way. You do not need to use complex models. it is no place to show how complex your model is. just use a plain pid or whatsoever control and a first order model but emphasize the HIL specifics.

germans like to show everything complicated. it validates and boost ego to show off how taleted they are
