I think that is so obvious she didn't feel it necessary to directly state. In fact, she opens with it, but again, she doesn't directly say, "because Monday is the first day of the work week after your weekend rest."
C'mon man, you only make that comment if you are going through life thinking you are smarter than you actually are. Especially with that straight face like you just said something the smart people didn't think of. Incredible, really
And even if your observation was a brilliant one, what would it mean? Pretty close to nothing. Little bit of adjustment for specific applications.
Why your so threatened by something so benign is baffling to me, but you are far from alone in that regard.
      Peace

My mood is also always the same on the days of the week.
    - Monday: First day of the week. Time to go to school again. You can imagine why that makes Monday the worst day.
    - Tuesday: No real strong vibes.
    - Wednesday: No real strong vibes either.
    - Thursday: You're closer to the weekend, but it's not the last day yet (except it is for me because I don't have school on Fridays). Thursdays are very boring. And I'm saying that as someone who was born on a Thursday.
    - Friday: Last day of the work week and time for the weekend. This gives me good vibes.
    - Saturday: Best day by far.
    - Sunday: I know it's a weekend day, but it's the last day of the week... meaning you have to get ready to start it all over again as the first day of the week is tomorrow.
It's interesting how this system impacts emotions, considering it's not natural.

Great talk. Though, I don't believe the 7 day week is a man made cycle. 7 days are equal to 1/4 of the lunar month. Each day relates to a specific portion of each 1/4 of the lunar cycle. We may have shifted that out of synch but it still relevant in our preprogrammed division of time within our own cycles. That fact might be why even though the "weekdays" don't match the moon cycle anymore, it is still within the rhythms of our systems to respond to this pattern of 7 days of personalities. I would go so far as to pose it as a question of physiological water response and inate psychological behavior response. This has definitely made me think. Thanks for the talk. Very interesting.

    • @aylbdrmadison1051
      @aylbdrmadison1051 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Except only 1/12 months are 28 days. And just because you find 4 to be a number you are more comfortable with, does not even remotely imply that things that are natural can always be easily divided into quarters. And no, the days do not relate to the lunar cycle at all, the lunar cycle doesn't follow the months. Or we would always have a full moon etc on the same day each month.

    • @heatherstargazer

Another thing I don't get, two actually. This isn't the first time this has been researched. I have known at least 15 yrs that people are more likely to say yes on Friday and no on Monday, because I picked it up somewhere.
Also, a thought vector you may find useful if you haven't considered it. Leap years. Does it affect the cycle as in adding a day changes the all days by shifting them one day to the left or right on the calendar? Maybe not, I'm too tired to think about it, haha. Why do we have them anyway, we could just add 1 minute per day and stay even. (.98 mins actually. Maybe leap system is more accurate). And Daylight Savings too, screws everyone up.
    Good luck in your research.

Aren't weeks based on the lunar cycle? starting from a new moon, it waxes to half moon in 7 days, full in 14, wanes back to half moon in 21, new moon again on 28, not man-made. Months are the arbitrary measurement or man-made cycle, including where we start a new year.
Really it should be on a solstice, the new year; and instead of months we should count weeks, Week 1, Week 2 etc., and seasons(13 week period). I believe the 12 months were a religious order to recognize 12 gods, disciples etc., might be wrong.
