JK is that hyper kid who spaces out a lot and just touches everything and bugs his brothers constantly but is also very very very responsible and thoughtful so it’s not rude or annoying it just adds to the general aura of chaos BTS exists in all the time. Adore him.

jk is so much fun. even nowadays he goes on random lives where he cooks, does laundry and folds his underwear, watches netflix while eating chicken and drinking beer, karaokes session, live reactions all in the middle of the night. he even fell asleep while doing live. lmao

My take on Jungkook is he's very kinesthetically-inclined - hence he fidgets or sways a lot, gets bored sitting still, is very athletically gifted, high body n spatial awareness, learns best kinesthetically, talented at hands-on bodily activities like singing, dancing, art, sports, etc. He's also very sensory -- sensitive to smells, scents, textures, and very observant and has v quick reflexes, he's just very intelligent about his surroundings and of his own body. In MBTI terms, he's definitely alot more of a Sensor!
Also, his tolerance for adrenaline is super high -- he LOVES thrill-seeking activities and finds them fun instead of terrifying 😂, like he needs alot more adrenaline stimulation than others! e.g. bungee jumping, he wants to do sky-diving, he even did the BV4 jump on another level by hanging upside down
Plus he loves playfighting, carrying his hyungs, wrestling, tumbling, hugs, smacking his hyungs butts (he absolutely LOVES smacking butts -- someone find Loui a compilation of that!) etc -- physical expressions of his affection and adoration. he also likes to adjust his hyung's clothings/accessories so they are in the 'right place' - like how he loves folding his laundry neatly into triangles. he seems to prefer physically & visually expressing himself than verbally expressing himself (RM is the opposite!)
(i find JK and RM are extreme ends of the spectrum out of the members: in that Jungkook is super intelligent in a tangible, sensory way, RM is super intelligent in an abstract, conceptual way). The rest of the members are somewhere in between. 💜
That's a useful spectrum! They really are at the ends - RM is brilliant and breaks everything he touches and JK can mimic anything he sees and has said so many times that he's not good at studying. They envy and respect each other's strengths, too.
I'm having fun placing them all on this scale. I think Jimin is our center point.
I really like all their different strengths and how they complement each other. 💜

sidenote about 'studying' -- i find that the traditional approach to 'studying' in modern society is catered mainly for selected types of jobs/tasks only and the approach is too narrowly focused on one type of intelligence/learning method...
if we think of 'studying' as simply 'learning' in general, then JK learns or studies just as well as RM, just via different methods (kinesthetic/visual vs writing/reading) and excels at subjects that tend to be sadly deemed less 'important' in the school system (e.g. design, art, athletics / body smarts, music, dance, making, possibly nature/environmental subjects). ironically, these are areas that become super important and essential in industries and the working world.
like yoongi rightly told jungkook in their festa bangtan attic video, these days watching videos is also a form of studying and there's no one right way to study. (tbh, these days it's true most students study or learn things through videos compared to books). JK likely learns a lot better through highly visual / motion-based ways or learns by doing and using his body, or thru more experiential methods. he would probably love makerspaces! unlike the traditional way of absorbing information from a book or writing notes in the form of words which we've come to associate as more 'academic'.
i feel like the education system needs to stop being so biased towards one type of learning method and intelligence only -- it's sad that people end up thinking they're 'not as good as studying' as a result of such a flawed system.
I also think Gardner's theory of Multiple Intelligences is useful to think about here! RM excels at verbal-linguistic, and logical-mathematical, amongst others -- whereas JK excels at visual-spatial and bodily-kinesthetic, amongst other intelligences! :)
@@Garnishes absolutely agree with you about how people learn! And it breaks my heart that Jungkook thought he wasn't intelligent because his intelligence doesn't show well on a written test. I was so grateful to Yoongi... Who I think has said he didn't do well in school, but who is clearly brilliant.
Jin has said before that he's not the brightest, and I always want to just shake the Korean education system for making these men think there's anything wrong with them. Ultimately there are more important things than being smart - but also, they're all plenty smart!
jungkook being super competitive (and super capable) is especially funny in the context of him being the youngest LMAO the older boys will just send him to go win things, they’re scared of competing against him, and if they do poorly in a team game they just take the verbal beating from him- it’s truly golden maknae on top
Jimin is also incredibly good at things but he's not nearly as competitive about it and they're not afraid of him 🤣

I love Jungkook so much haha, love that you got to see this side of his personality! He’s very very tactile, loves touching/smelling everything, and has problems sitting still for long periods of time without zoning out or fidgeting while they have to wait for something or whenever he’s not performing/dancing - he’s also a huge adrenaline fan and loves physical activities like bungee jumping. And he’s so emotionally sensitive and caring and has a very deep love for his members and ARMY and his dog and everyone who’s important to him, and he tries so hard/gives his all in everything he does (which is where we get that competitiveness from), and is very curious about his surroundings. I think he just has a lot of excess energy inside him. He just lives life to the fullest, I think, even back in debut days as a teenager, he said his motto is he’d rather die than live without passion.

I think Jungkook is such an interesting person. He is so childish and innocent in terms of his attitude and how he speaks about people. It seems like he really enjoys life and just does things he wants to which I really admire. I often get stuck in my own head about what I should do and what I want to do and I think he exemplifies how to do the things you want to do to make yourself happy regardless of if it’s the most important thing.
For some reason I think about how he deleted Instagram. He didn’t feel the need to keep up with it as a way to connect with fans cause it just wasn’t for him. And regardless of his popularity and his status he deleted Instagram for himself.
I also think while being free spirited he is also very thoughtful. He clearly has a lot of respect for the other members and for the people around him and that is also something I really admire.
I also just love watching him on stage. Clearly music is his passion and performing is his favorite thing to do and I just love watching him on stage. It astounds me how he was able to join so young and grow up so well.
I think often people either equate him only to a “bad boy” image because of his stage presence or the equate him only to being the dorky youngest brother and neither are fully what I think he is. I think he balances being young and carefree while also being mature of those around you.

I noticed how extremely hyper Jungkook is but as he grows older, he becomes more reserved and showing more of his 'cool' version. And the hyper energy gets passed onto Jin. The same for the the other younger members. Their hyper energy seems to get passed onto Jin. And Jin becomes this wild Pokemon that makes everybody's day.

His lives have always been alot of fun, he's sweet and very attentive to armys questions, but lately I think he has alot on his mind. He has not been happy with people telling him what to do. Like not drinking, don't blame him , grown man. People following him to the gym,sending food to his house, he is upset these days. I hope they don't ruin it for the majority of us who love his spontaneity.😢❤❤❤

as someone with adhd who stims a LOT, it’s pretty clear to me that a lot of jungkook’s fidgeting and other “random stuff” he does is stimming! (neurotypical people stim too so i’m definitely not trying to diagnose him with anything!!! in fact all of the members stim quite a bit in different ways, jungkook just tends to do it the most.) seeing people make fun of it (like sugarmyy’s commentary in the first video, though i know they mean no harm and i enjoy their videos otherwise) doesn’t feel great bc ppl who stim just do it because it feels nice and in some cases it can be a self-soothing thing as well. there’s no “mysterious thought process” behind it, it literally just feels good lol.
anyway, seeing him be so open and not try to repress his stims has helped me be so much more comfortable stimming around other people. i used to be embarrassed about it and try to stop, which can be really hard especially when i’m already stressed or nervous. but he’s shown me it’s not embarrassing and it can even be endearing, and bts’ non-reactions to it are very comforting too-they don’t see it as weird or annoying, it’s just a part of him!
I have adhd and I always knew that jungkook isn't neurotypical at all cause I relate to him a little too much.
BTW, yoongi was the reason I discovered that I have adhd, I'm really thankful to him

I just love jungkook and his lill quirks... he is extremely talented in superhuman way from vocals to insane stage presence and dance moves and even songwriting but also he is just so nerodivergent and adhd coded 😭 and that's so relatable. I do a lot of things he does like the constant random moving and forgetting things on a recent vlive he was just watching bts videos (he seems to been have resting at home for a long time) and suddenly he got inspired and was like yeah I am energised right now I feel like working on music and turned off the live... that's sooo me.
