- This is my reaction/review for 'Camera Eats First' by Ithaca, taken from their record 'They Fear Us' which is out now. I did the title track from the album on my most recent livestream and instantly was hooked, now we're here. The record is amazing, my favorite track is probably the title track or the closer. Which is yours?

Camera eats first is a good play on the Japanese saying "Moritsuke", which means the "The eyes eat first" (appreciating a visually appealing plate). Ithaca are some of the UK's finest, brutal track I loved it 🤘🏻

So far this is my album of the year. The title track is awesome but "In The Way" and "Number Five" are some definite high points for me. "Hold Be Held" might be the best outro ive heard in a long time.

@@codyb6849 Not sure what that has to do with my comment but yes I have heard Jinjer and I've not listened to Arch Enemy since Doomsday Machine but I'm very familiar with them.
Big same. Right now this is competing with the new Prada album for top spot (that one hit me hard emotionally), but this is definitely the top contender. If not #1, then def #2, it's already decided. But so far it's looking like this one will take it. Love it so much.

Smacks so hard. Love the whole album. First three tracks are the best. They Fear Us and In the Way hit but the later half of the album’s 80’s pop mixed with metal themes hits different
I'm so happy my request went through on Sunday. I love exposing people to the music I love, I'm glad to know you love this as much as I do. It's exciting that I was able to share this with someone I look up to, and the community as a whole.
Can't tell ya how many plays of "They Fear Us" (and this one) I have. It's been really hard to pick favorites since the whole album is top notch, but "The Future Says Thank You" has some really killer riffs, and "Hold, Be Held" is another personal favorite because it's such an emotional track that I really connect with. This has a really high chance of being my AOTY.
Been a fan since the best breakdown of 2019 'Impulse Crush'.

This band gives me Jinjer an Arch Enemy vibes but this lady cleans is good I give her credit for that
