I've been watching a few of your videos. Came over from Cletus camping. You guys so so so need to make the time to hook up with Brian and Karen from SV delos YT Channel and be volunteer crew members on their sailboat. What a collaboration that would be. You guys would fit right in. They do have a two-year-old daughter on board but you guys would still have a blast. They are getting ready to set sail from Baja California to go across the Pacific for a second time. Brian has circumnavigated the world once. He met his wife Karen on the first time going through Australia. You guys have got to do this plus it will help your TH-cam channel grow in more ways than you will know.

If I was 30 years younger this would be a VERY attractive career idea... I love being out on the water. And I've been a gearhead all my life. But... at 50 I don't think I could keep up... Plus, I really like where I live and hate the idea of being gone for extended periods of time. In my 20's it would have been perfect, though.

Nice! I don’t have an open position on my vessel but I’d point you in the direction of searching Facebook groups for job postings. Most locations where yachting is a thing has a group. Good luck!!

What about if a woman wants kids one day? I don’t have a boyfriend and I have 24 years old, I’m interesting in this career but how you can handle it when you’re getting older?
If you are interested I’d say do it now, if you like it then learn as much as you can in whichever department you chose (deck, interior, engineering, galley) then when it is time to reproduce and settle down, use the skills you’ve learned through yachting to go land based

Every boat/program is different. Smaller boats with less crew, you'll find each department helps out each other. A solid team environment is a sign for a healthy program for crew.

I think with the right mindset you can do anything you want. I have a friend with a Mexican passport who has worked on yachts for the past 4 years
