Spark AR tutorial: Create filter effect with Face mesh, Retouching and Lighting Effect

- Today we are going to implement a basic filter effect with Spark AR.
It looks like what you are watching on the screen. A mask with blue and purple light moves on your face, like you're in a club
In this tutorial, we will use Face tracker to identify faces and use Face mesh to customize masks.
In addition, you will know how to work with skin retouching, surface parameters and add light effects to your filters.

Thanks! Totally able to get this working. Curious though, I am trying to add in a segmentation background behind this filter. But when I add the segmentation in, it seems to turn off the face mask filters. Any idea? As soon as I turn off the "visible" canvas layer I can see the face mask effect though...

@@nina.theweirdo So I have noticed, that if I change the demo camera, the facemask still works on "some" of the people... it's almost like a depth issue if the face is a face is a certain distance back and you have a segmented background the face mask falls off the further back from the "camera"

Hi ! thanx for the tutorial!!L) - but its not possible to save and share the project, cause app is not saving the patches. Once you try to group it - it's saying the group which contains objects cannot be saved ( about this Left/Right lights thing). Once I'm deleting it - the whole cool effect disappearing. Thus my question is - how can we save it?

I tried to make another filter but I have an issue with a material on a second facemesh not showing in app but they do show up in spark AR. I am super new with Spark (As in started today) and I did some face distortion in Blender and created a new Face mesh. This works fine however I also wanted to try creating freckles. I added a new face mesh for that and added a material and custom texture. This shows up in Spark AR but when I try it out in IG and FB only the face distortion and skin smoothing show up. Anyone know what I am doing incorrectly?
