    Looks good Dave, I look forward to more!
    I have a Policar track myself, and I really like it. I especially like the variable power supply. I also got a pair of Professor Motor controllers for it, so much better than the stock ones. I race non mag, so the extra grip on the Policar track is nice, yet still allows sliding.

    I like that table skirt... reminds me of Sergio Perez playing slot cars with you. Nice to see that you have something to "mess around with"

      so I believe it is the same skirt I used then. This skirting was in a box on top of my table for years now with those cars we raced with him.

    Nice! Amazing what a little "grass" can do. :)

      indeed, a solid color behind the whole table/track helps to make it look more complete.

    Nice test track. Those grass wrinkles would drive me crazy though. I know is new and will flatten out soon enough.

    Looking good Dave, hey good things take time lol
    What's the plan for fastening the carpet to the table?

      Had the green indoor/outdoor cut.extra wide and used duct.tape to secure the overlap to the underside of table. No movement no wrinkles..works for me

      at the moment I'm not sure. I have small tack nails I'm considering. The next step is to see when the track set arrives and I will take this track off the table and do a video about setting up the basic Policar starter set. Then I will use that new track to add to what I have. I will consider the final (ish) layout then start on making the other aspects of the track more final.

    0:58 How about using nerf darts or the border?

    Hi Dave, Really enjoy your news segments, and you finally getting a better track to show the cars on, BUT please get rid of the funky looking squiggle section where it goes right then left then right then left....NOT realistic. Not sure why you put this in unless it is to show how well the car holds the track. Thanks again for your insights into the hobby. Really appreciate them.

      I just wanted to add something for a focal point. my track isn't going to be a model of anything real. Also I wanted to add places on the track where I can shoot photos and "esses" like that make an interesting spot to shoot pix.

    Is that a Policar flex track?

    • @SlotCarNewsOfficial
      @SlotCarNewsOfficial  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Policar is hard plastic track, just like Carrera. There's no flex to it.
